New NCSoft MMO - Wildstar

Is anyone playing Warrior tank? It seems every stream/video/etc I watch of people tanking veteran content has a warrior tank. I have a warrior, stalker and engineer between 10 - 20 somewhere. Wondering which one I should take to the top. Actually enjoying them all, so it's hard to make a final choice. (Yes, I'm still bitching about picking a class)

I have a warrior tank and now on lvl 36 and love it so far :)

I like the idea of having a little range on the engineer. I love the "IN YOUR FACE" of the warrior. And stealth is awesome as always on the stalker. Why can't they have made 2 of the 3 tanks a bit crappier to make my choice easier.

Are there any of the other lowbies that want to run Stormtalon Lair tonight? I'm up for deeps or possibly tanking on my engineer (Warsmith) if I can craft my tanking set beforehand (almost done with what I need in Apprentice Armorsmithing). I ran it last night as dps to get the lay of the land (after also watching youtube videos about it, you can never over prepare) so I if needed I can give a bit of direction since this isn't WoW.

Played to about level 10 last night, really enjoying it !

Got a really nice feel to it, still need to get my head around proffessions and the path quests etc, not too sure how that all works.

Dont stress about it to much, just pick at least one gathering as a prof so that you can start making some monies.

Oh and keep an eye out for us we shall pounce and /lick when you least expect it . . .

Just a quick tip. Don't waste too much gold on crafting professions before you have 12g saved up. You need 1g for your house at 14 and 10g67s for your mount at 15. I also didn't salvage any gear I got that I couldn't use, but sold it to vendors until I had the gold I needed, then I started salvaging.

Tiptoppoet - are you in the Grim Wolves guild? If so gimme a name so I know who you are ingame :)

Yes, I'm Warsmith, the chatty Engineer who can't pick a class to play.

Yea I'm just vendoring everything i cant use & the junk, 1st prize is to have enough for a mount at 15. House will be nice but not a necessity. Suppose I should take up a gathering proff for now ? usual MMO stuff

If you vendor everything you'll have enough gold by 13/14 to buy your house and mount. Or I did anyway. Your house is where you get rested xp. So it's a big part of leveling. It's also a MAJOR gold sink. So get your mount before you start decorating.

I started my the first room of my mansion last night and I have no gold left and have a floor with 2 sides walled.

Aaaaaaaaaaah hai Warsmith :P Join us on the Grim forums :P

Im Simmi aka Brethless in game :D

You also need money to buy your spells though while leveling ? Im not sure if i should be saving everything up or buying all the spells that I can, so far only buying my spec's spells + 1 or 2 other utility spells (heals/roots etc)

I bought one or two of the spells a "bit" late. Getting a mount and house for rested was higher prio than 1 or 2 spells which I got before I reached level 16 anyway. If you're playing dps some of the utility and support spells might not be worth getting immediately and vice versa if you're playing tank/healer (although most people level as dps)
