New NCSoft MMO - Wildstar

I bought one or two of the spells a "bit" late. Getting a mount and house for rested was higher prio than 1 or 2 spells which I got before I reached level 16 anyway. If you're playing dps some of the utility and support spells might not be worth getting immediately and vice versa if you're playing tank/healer (although most people level as dps)

Yeah Im at level 10 now so i think I'll just save up everything from now, where do you even go to take up a proff ?

See you live in Paarl, I lived there for a year, awesome little town.

If you're leveling through Deradune it's at Feralplain Collective. You get a quest that points you in the right direction around level 10 (since that is when you can start doing profs)

And moved to Paarl at the beginning of the year for work. Not too bad so far. Enjoyably quiet after living in Stellenbosch for a couple of years. Those GD students.

Hey guys, old school WoW player here very keen on giving Wild Star a try. The difficulty factor has got me excited the most. Would anyone be able to give me a guest pass? I'd love to play it over the weekend to help me decide on buying it. Thanks v much

Check your PM, guess pass waiting :)

Thanks dude lol I actually went and bought the game this morning. I will leave the pass for you to give someone else.

My new question is what SA Exile guilds are there on pvp servers? There's a few of us looking to get involved in one!

Yup, the only ones playing Exiles that we can tell are all PVE
Its not that difficult to find world pvp though if you flag up.
We are on EKO, hit us up at Sortedgaming.com/forums if you are keen to join us

Indeed! I might consider not closing the book on my characters when they hit 50, just because there looks to be something non-raiding I can do with them!

Think im done after this month. I'll return in a couple of months time if Albion online isn't out by then.

I tried dominion but I'm not sold on the space nazis, so I've got a few Exile chars on the Zhur PvP server - I'm guessing I'm going to get ganked badly by you okes.

Yes you are, especially because you are contributing to an already overpopulated faction...

Quite sad to read that a few guys are dropping out at the end of this month. I feel the complete opposite. I have never been so enticed by an MMO. Its like its secretly seducing me :)
Sorted Gaming has 2 groups comfortably hitting gold on every Elite Adventure making it nice and easy for fresh level 50's to get gear.
We also have 1 group that is progressing through the Elite Dungeons now to achieve the Gold/Silver attunement quest required for raiding.
I can say this, the dungeons themselves require the same amount of strategy as a WoW raid does. The timing and execution have to be spot on.
For those who are very keen on raiding, I urge you not to give up just yet. The effort is well worth it.

We are also busy with our Warplot. The materials required to make the items are quite intense. We actually have some people leveling alts just for the Warplot and the crafting behind it.

Yeah its unfortunate. I really liked the look of this game but when you get to that point where you have to force yourself to login then you know its time to quit.

I am 100% with you on this, the last few MMO's i played only lasted a month for me as well but Wildstar feels totally diffrent, it feels like i am playing WoW again.. which is a good thing, it's just so addictive and i just love how hard it is and it makes progressing well worth it.

Ourself in Grim Wolves are now running 2 Vet Adventure groups at night and pushing gold easy, just helping to gear people still and get everyone on 5/13 Attunement then we gonna push Vet Dungeons soon :)

Sorry I missed last night, was sick with a cold. Doing a lot better today so should be able to come heal the vet adventures tonight, if there's still a spot for me. :D
