I would have added another option to the poll. One for Key Layout. Nothing more frustrating than getting a new keyboard and the layout of the keys is different. Referring to things like the spacing between the function keys (F1-F12), size of the enter button and backspace etc...

Durability. It comes down to the quality build of the keyboard; the printed letters on the keys should not fade within months of use, and the keys should not wear too quick. So definitely durability. Comfort is the second factor and this is also important. Keyboard layouts are the same in most cases yes, but some have wrist pads for added ergonomics, and my keyboard has medium height keys which for some reason is more comfortable and more responsive imo.

Personal preference I suppose.

No point in having the worlds greatest keyboard but its made of needles, comfort first then start playing with extra features.

Comfortability is imperative in all peripherals, but, you want your gadgets and so on and so forth to last you longer than a few months, that's why I go for durability.

Hardware wares out eventually and becomes a pain to use in everyday life, especially when it starts to deteriorate and becomes almost a burden to use.

wouldn't you rather have something that lasts you a long time and looks decent, as apposed to something that feels and looks like a dream, but breaks after excessive use...

Unnecessary cash spent on new HW because old HW broke after a 'not-so-long' period of time, just doesn't seem worth it.

In my opinion, it has to be comfort, sure all other features are necessary but what are the chances of busting your keyboard keys while playing a game(you must be a real nutter) so durability isn't that important, If you're a hardcore gamer or just a gamer in general you should know where all they keys on a keyboard are, the backlight is just there so you can look bad ass. Who needs programmable keys when you cant use them due to your hand cramping up and fingers getting tired, real gamers are focused on the game and need to be comfortable at all times.

I work on a keyboard all day, every day, so for me, comfort is definitely the most important. Otherwise you end up with sore hands and wrists, and carpal tunnel syndrome
