Hello, PlayStation.Blog! I’m Alex, from Hello Games. Hope you’re well! How’s your summer going? Ours? We’re kinda recovered from E3, where Sean showed off live No Man’s Sky gameplay for the first time. It has been a big relief that people seemed to like it. You can’t know just how scary it is to show a game as open-ended as No Man’s Sky live on a stage for an audience of millions.
Since then, we’ve also been super proud that IGN has devoted July’s IGN First to No Man’s Sky. We hope you’ve had a chance to see some of the amazing articles that they’ve published, maybe including this 18-minute video of Sean exploring a planet.
We’ve been thinking, though, that No Man’s Sky is pretty good at hiding its secrets, and that there there are some facts about the game that might not be so obvious — facts that help it all make sense, and come alive. So we’ve put together a list of 41 things about the game that you might not realize. We hope you enjoy them, and thanks so much for all your support.
It’s been so amazing to share with you what we’ve been doing over the past few months.
BeoTeK you are making me so excited about this game! It looks great. My biggest concern is if it will hold a person's interest and if the stuff that one has to do is actually fun. I wonder what the price will be.
I'm well of aware of what the game is and I have my expectations, thus I shouldn't be disappointed. I've been anticipating this game since it's conception. I'm the type of person that just sits in awe at the marvel of the game and the logic and creativeness of it. The thought process of this game alone astounds me, the creativeness of the way Shaun had come up with developing it is amazing, I'm also amazed no one else had/has tried this and it's makes so much sense when you think about it. It's all but numbers and mathematical equations.
Also, they have hinted that the game should be priced around the $20 mark and not the price of a AAA title.
If it goes for $20 then I will pre-order it. I also like the idea of just exploring and enjoying the solitude of it all. If they can pull that feeling of though.
Are you thinking of getting it for PC or PS4?
It will definitely be on PS4. Just a personal preference, I just feel it will be the most natural way to play the game. Pity it isn't coming to Xbox though.

I see No Man's Sky may be might be delayed due to Project Morpheus.
this is turning into another Star Citizen.... or Duke Nukem Forever....
Star Citizen and this have a good reason though since they are such complicated games. But yeah it looks like we may have to wait a bit.
ja fair enough. but if it sucks after making us wait so long there will be riots
