hi guys
OK to start off I know this is a really dumb thing to do. to get to the point i changed the CPU on my old lga 775 mobo it wouldn't post so i clear the CMOS jumper and while it was still on clear i powered on the system but nothing happened so i powered down put the jumper on the correct position but still nothing the PC has power but there is nothing on the screen and no beep on start up so i put the the old CPU back still nothing unplugged all the cable and CPU and ram reconnected still nothing i suspect the BIOS is corrupt. The mobo is a ecs g31t-m7 rev 1.0. Does any one know how to flash a BIOS on it any help will be much appreciated. there might be a small amount of thermal paste on the socket which i can not get of can this be the problem
