I'm going to disagree on the sniper sentiment. I believe that snipers can be a very valuable asset to your team, but the key is to have them in moderation. Also, some guys play snipers in an active role where they still play the objective without parking off on the back of the map and chilling. Playing a sniper in an active role like that is massively beneficial to the team.
So sniping can be an asset to your team, but if there are too many, OR if you find that your team uses jets/choppers as transport to sniping spots - you may as well switch teams or look for another server.
Yeah, but what I mean is when you play a map like Siege of Shanghai, and nobody plays the objective, nobody captures objectives, because 90% of your team is camping on a roof trying to snipe people hundreds of meters away.
When we play squads of friends, we always have a balanced squad, e.g. 1 engineers, 2 assault, 1 support and 1 sniper (depends on map)... so that we have all skills, and we get around very well and do very well. If 4 of us were snipers, it would be useless... you lose strategic spawn points, you do not PTFO and you have a small penis. (sorry , I really dislike snipers)
