Wow full of confidence are we you got it right twice only twice and i have head raped you how many times with my SRR?

but work has been killer been 4 days now and working tomorrow and i'm only off sat then sunday night i start again

In fact, did you know, Chuck Norris checks under his bed for AlienTaker!? :D :cool:

I my self have missed out on BF4, for one my GPU is not liking BF4, all other games fly. Even tweaking BF4 that it looks worse than BF2 (serisouly did that) is still putters along at 15-20 fps..

Secondly, I have discovered the unhealthly addiction called Diablo 3....and its not going away, going to get the xp end of the month...

hehe, all in jest. I love the smack talk, should hear my brother and me going at it... we have this informal LAN sometimes, about 10 okes...holy crap it can get loud. No family members are left out of insults. ;) I often fear the police arriving.

hahahaha ja Tsar is all talk.... even i with my horrible-laggy-high-ping telkom internet has managed to kill him ore times than me and i actually do suck at the game :p

pfffttt I have killed you plenty of times :p the thing is I am easy to kill :p But I always end up on top of my team or around there ;p

My telkom line is also laggy as hell. :(
 
Okay, I bought Premium but now it's not showing up in Battlelog. It shows in my Origin client and I'm downloading the map packs, but when I click on the Premium tab in battlelog it just asks me to buy it again.

Anyone else experience this problem? I assume I just have to wait or something.
 
yeah, just another example of the poor coding in BF4. I had that for long, eventually found out that needed to add a registry setting.

Look here for help. I added Xpack0 to Xpack2 to allow for all current DLCs. When the others get released, I will probably have to add them manually too.

Even after repairs and reinstalls, nothing needed to add the registry manually. Thats just crappy.

1. Log out and fully exit Origin
2. Open your Registry Editor - Type in regedit on the Start Menu Search field and press Enter
3. Navigate through HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > EA Games > Battlefield 4
4. Check if there is a folder named Xpack1 under Battlefield 4
If YES -> Click on Xpack1, on the right pane check if there is a string named Installed, the Value data should be True
If NO - right-click on Battlefield 4 > New > Key
- a new folder will be created, name it Xpack1
- right-click on Xpack1 > New > String Value > name it Installed
- on the right-pane, double-click on Installed, set Value Data to True
5. Exit Registry Editor
6. Log in to Origin and Join China Rising Maps

Using this method do you still have access to all the other Premium benefits such as double XP events and weekly premium content?
 
Yup, do you, it just lets the game see you have the DLCs. I've been playing using this fix...and trust me, I need those double XP! :D

I dualboot Win 7 and Win 8. Win 8 was mostly just to play around with. With my recent issues with BF4 in Win 7, I decided to give Win 8 a whirl...damn! I can play BF4 at high settings! But keep things mixed between medium and high for sustained fps.
 
EA and DICE want help in testing new features and patches

DICE jumped on the official Battlefield blog on Thursday and announced the launch of the Battlefield 4 Community Test Environment (CTE), a community program that will allow players to take part in Battlefield 4's development. Here DICE will test new ideas and introduce fixes for current issues before they're rolled out to the general Battlefield 4 population.

"Among the first things we will work on is the 'Netcode', which is what the player experiences with the game world including player-to-player interactions like damage registration. This involves tweaking to the 'tickrate' servers and networking in general," states the company's blog.

"By launching this new program, not only will we be able to address player feedback at an early stage, but also increase the overall quality of the game. We are excited to explore the possibilities together with you," DICE adds.

Initially, only a limited number of Battlefield 4 Premium members will be able to participate in the program. However, DICE and EA plan to expand to a larger player base later on after they test this new program.

Available for PC only, the first wave of CTE seats are already filled. Once additional seats are made available, gamers will need to download a second CTE-dedicated game client and connect to a special Battlelog that's solely established for testing purposes.

PC gamers interested in participating in the program should head here. The new Battlefield 4 client will be made available within the Origin desktop client. Gamers must also download and install a Battlelog browser plugin, the blog states.

So BF4 CTE has had a netcode patch, I have not downloaded the CTE yet but here are the changes made so far:
PATCH DAY
Today we will patch both server and client on the CTE. This will mean some server downtime. You will also have to update your CTE client in Origin to join servers once they are up again.

PATCH CONTENTS
This patch includes:

Fix for explosion packs not being shootable sometimes
Fix for reducing damage mismatch between client/server
Fix for third person player orientation mismatch
Character collision improvements
Improvements for client side packet loss
Various server performance improvements
High Frequency/High Priority update (“Tickrate” improvements)
A new network update for high priority second to second gameplay (damage states, player position, projectiles, player stance etc). This update is per client specific and updates an area around each player. Initially we will test running this update at 30hz for everyone. This update runs on top of the current update run in the game today as a complement.
NOTE: This might cause problems for you (stalling, rubberbanding etc) if your internet connection can’t keep up – let us know in the forums
