Official Battlefield 4 Thread

Yeah i love the game too but this whole player appreciation month is utter bull crap just fix everything and then feed us candy so we can at least enjoy it. Just an Idea for dice(will never happen) Take the game offline for a month sort out all the issues and then bring it back online.

I knew that... "whistling: heh, never new that, always thought there are a lot of idiots out there....well there is, but just not on one server. :P Thanks for clearing that up.

oh the hacker thing...obviously there are hackers out there, but, sometimes I think ppl overreact and call a good player a hacker when he is just having a good game. If you get owned by someone, all of a sudden the only way he could do that is by cheating. Ppl need to get over themselves. I relish the challenge of taking on someone who has killed me a few times. heh, capture points, you kill me, you can bet I'm gonna respawn there as many times I you kill me or until I kill you! :cool: .... mostly I die alot. :D

I get what your saying but like Neo said some of these guys are just a bit "too Good" had a guy last night shoot me as i spawn no matter where i spawn he knows where i am and i die immediately. happened 6 times and i decided to leave the server no way someone can know exactly where you spawn every time.

And some of the Snipers too you barely peek outside a door or around a corner and head-shot your dead. had a guy on a server the other night 37 head shots in a row no deaths. that's a bit impossible in a tdm with an m98b

yeah, that sounds very dodgy, if not impossible....had the unfortunate experience of something similar in BF3, map was Davamand peak and the guy owned the whole level, jackass was as obvious as hell, joking about it...

Speaking of Davamand Peak, I know the map was a bitch to play, especially when the teams are not balanced, but I was kinda of hoping they would also port the map to BF4. (Tehran highway you can delete from existence...)

I liked Tehran highway. The only thing was it was fun when the game was balanced. But you could say that with all maps.
 
Yeah and then you get some of these servers with a balancer that puts all the high ranks on one side and the the ones 50 and lower on one side and then they say "but teams are balance" yeah about that...............And these damn new assignments to kill people from the towere and the two new maps you always get some idiot with a jet or chopper taking you out, so unless you have no one noticing you up there or your playing on your own server it's not going to be easy
 
They have tweaked the choppers a bit and they are more maneuverable i don't fly much cos i get motion sickness but the little i have tried it was easier

The little birds are quite similar, but the attack choppers are ridiculous and like trying to fly a bathtub full of water. They're virtually useless compared to how they were in bf3.
 
Does anyone here know if you can use a xbox360 controller in BF4 say to fly choppers/jets? I googled but most links are to sites that are blocked here at work so thought I'd try here.
 
yes you can if you know how to setup the keys for yourself. or you can look at the xbox layout and go according to that. i used mine for BF3 and it makes flying a lot easier

Thanks, used to play BFBC2 on xbox so I know the controls etc, i must try it out in the test range place first....

You play on 360, the 64 player thing adds benefit to Large Vehicle maps because there's plenty infantry action going on as well. :)
 
Had another awesome game last night. Went 17-0 in an attack jet. Made people angry enough to rage-quit. Mission accomplished.

It seems no matter what weapon you choose in the game, there's always some guy tuning you that you're lame for using that weapon. "Oh a DMR, blah blah" or "Oh, another sniper....blah blah" or "Oh, a shotgun, blah blah garble" or "oh, another carbine noob..." ....seriously, if the community keeps on getting worse, and essentially becomes filled with the same morons that play DotA, then I'm quitting online multiplayer games altogether.

Also, MWEB doesn't seem to have any admins or profanity filters on their servers anymore? Guys are swearing at each other six-love and nothing happens??

Some of the servers Mweb run are in "Official" mode, there are big restrictions on an admin can do to the server in that mode (including what plug-ins he can run). The games matchmaking system will only put you into servers running in Official mode, this is why mweb does it to some of its servers (especially the DLC servers).

You will find that the "Ranked" Mweb servers run the profanity filters and balancers.

I hate having to admit this but man I am loving second assault, Had so much fun earlier on all my old fav maps :D

Its actually sad...Dice has a winning recipe here...but at the moment its like a decadent chocolate cake, sweet warm chocolate ganache covering the outside..You bite into it and it tastes amazing...till you reach the core and that's when you realize you've just bitten into the 2nd layer which is made up of vile pig anus.
