The difference between bf3 beta and the final release was huge. So really have to keep an open mind.
Although after 53+ days worth of playing bf3, I'm a bit biased anyway

Playing the Beta and it's pretty awesome so far.
Our servers seem to have packet loss issues,overseas servers run fine with the delay of course.

Good about BETA BF4 =
1. It uninstalls
2. There is guns and tanks and heli's

Bad thing about BETA BF4.
1. It installs
2. There is not enough webspace on MyBB/MyGaming website to type all the negatives.
Am i the only 1 that sees this as MOH2 with armour/air bolted on?
Does not feel like BF3 (which will be a good thing for some gamers) but i am disappointed big time. Maybe when the bugs and lag is gone in the release version my opinion will change. Hope so as R500.00 could have bought me Ghosts. Ai Dice, wtf were you thinking when you changed the feel of BF3. Rather gave us some more DLC's and fixed the remaining issues in BF3 than give us a MOH reboot.

I also noticed the feel but i think they did it to make the came feel less arcade like.
Though it really is not that bad,sure your movement feels a bit restricted but it doesn't interfere with my normal playstyle.
One thing i noticed was the amount of snipers,spawned on a heli and jumped out too a building,found 5 snipers on it sniping.Was also a gunner for a tank once and found 3 snipers all on top of eachother on a light pole.

What specifically is wrong with it? I only did a spectate yesterday, haven't had a chance to play it yet.

I think i had a too high expectation for the Beta. Wanted a game that does not lag, does not look like a cartoon (the orange thingies) when a tank shoots you in the face, you die, when you empty a mag on a guy, he just runs on if nothing happened.
Even BF3 beta did not "feel" as unpolished. Keep in mind that i am vol of kak when i pay lots of moola and don't like a game. Not EA's fault, but my own.

My thoughts so far:
The game is much more solid than BF3. BF3 was like a peashooter gallery. This is MUCH better in terms of gameplay and the shooting feels solid. Feels a lot more like BF2 which is awesome.
The lag though. My good lawd, the lag. I hope that gets sorted eventually and I hope that the performance issues (which I'm getting on a 780) is because of the game not being optimized properly yet.
All in all, it's looking good. I'll have to play some more to get a final verdict though. This might end up being what I wanted BF to be when BF3 came out. BF3 in my opinion was a massive fail.

You need to download the BETA drivers (Nvidia) to sort out most of the lag caused by poor optimization.Lag unfortunately is a problem with the host,overseas servers don't seem to lag so badly.

Wat Tooks gese het is n goeie voorbeeld van hoe smaak/ondervindings van n game verskil. Sommige mense is mal daaroor, sommiges hou daarvan en ander dink dis bollie.
Maybe the release will be awesoem, will just have to wait and see. At least you can get a refund within 24 hours after launch if it sucks.

Yis, the lag is bad. I'm playing on Xbox and its sometimes impossible. I'm used to playing on European servers but they must've changed the hit detection because it lags like crazy, and 1v1's I would've won on bf3 I lose on bf4. Its highly frustrating.
The guns to me feel like COD, with elements of BF3, but that could be the new mechanics I just need to adjust to.
The main issue I have are the controls, they've changed everything for console. And while you can switch back to 'veteran' controls, its not enough because the spot button is constant and that in itself throws you off. So I can barely drive a tank, I absolutely can't fly a chopper anymore, and haven't had a chance to try a jet.
The graphics are also pretty damn bad on console, damn.
Its just a bit disappointing as I think I expected too much from the beta. That being said, the bf3 beta was also terrible...so it might be a similar issue.
