What I also love using is my RFB, but mostly on hardcore servers. Not too shabby for taking out medium range snipers.
 
Does anyone else here have an Afrihost account and are experiencing an infinite loading screen ?

Started about 2 weeks ago when battlelog had an alert message saying that they were having connectivity issues, after that I cant get passed the loading screen for any maps or servers. Single player works fine still and I took my rig to a friends house on the weekend and it connected and played for hours fine, without having to change anything. So the only thing I can think of is that Afrihost is having issues ?
 
Did you try disabling the Origin overlay and then load up the game?

It gave myself and many other people problems when attempting to play BF4. Give it a shot if you haven't done so already.

In other news, I've been invited to try out for a new team in xTc :)
 
My BF4 has gone broke... one day it worked fine, the next it would only play in windowed mode, now it just says BF4.exe has stopped responding... so I've pretty much given up battlefielding.

Ah man that's a shame :( and you don't want to attempt to fix it?
 
Apparently update coming next month.


Also, some gameplay with the HUD elements scalled down. (Like Frankies vids and his sense of humor.)

Umm, so the new patch is coming out in September. Al great, fixes and what not. Not to complain, but this "fix" had me scratching my head....

Visual Recoil
Close and medium range optic reticules do not move with the gun any longer, however both bullet spread and bullet drop are still present.

I might be the biggest noob around here, but I use that visual recoil to adjust my aim. Not so?

Well i basically only play down the sights i never hip fire. But some of the fixes im looking forward too. Hope they dont break other things
 
Crikey... I formatted my machine over last weekend and started downloading this again as of Monday. I forgot that the entire premium package is close to 50GB for the base game and all DLC.

Still busy downloading....

But thats the thing, if I understand it correctly that is, aiming down the site is what they are refering too in "optic reticules"?

Currently, in BF4, when you ADS you'll see your gun moving and your reticule moving with it.

However, where your reticule is aiming, your bullets are not going. That's the problem. So you'll compensate for where your reticule is, making you inaccurate.

The new fix will stop the reticule from moving when you ADS, but tbe rest of the gun still moves.
