Official Call of Duty: Black Ops PC multiplayer thread

Well you did shoot me a few times. [Pew] Plassie

But not as much as Green Orb did.

Last night was some epic battles. The game rocks. Holy crap, it just seems incredibly heavy on cap though.

PS, knifed the Maps once or twice and shot him a few times... :p

Finally knifed a few people yesterday.

Was fun, so far tried FFA, S&D, CTF, HTDM, TDM.

I think the map I like the least is that suburban one. With the moving trucks and fake people.

Played on a Cape Town server yesterday, pings between 70-80.

On a Joburg server its 50-60, so not much of a difference. This is with my axxess account, my webafrica account gets me 400 ping.

Den is a Sneaky B#### :p

Killed me a few times.

Hehehehe! Just wish I could knife faster, even with that other knife perk! Hahaha!

Whats the data usage?

Not sure on exact numbers, but I chomped through about 5GB this weekend. Granted I was on TS and played a lot yesterday. Uncapped is looking like more and more of an option!

The only internet issues going on at my place this weekend was Blackops and TS3. no downloads and other things not even Youtube.

Started according to my access logs I used over 3GB from Friday to Sunday.

Only issue I get is maybe once a map the game freezes for 2 seconds, then goes on smoothly. Pings of 20-80 depending on which server I join and fps of 80-135 (found out my SLI was disabled when I updated my drivers lol). Didn't realize this game uses so much cap

Last night I had one laggy game, then it was smooth sailing all the way! It was great, loving this game.

On the Cape Town servers I get about 23 - 35 latency. And it actually stayed there last night. None of this 999 bs. Had some great games and lots of fun.

That little camera gadget is awesome, I must say ! :D

I will do a bandwidth test tonight and post an article tomorrow. I suspect it eats cap because of the cosntant upload stream on top of the DL stream.

That will be awesome. thank you so much. Is there not a way to switch the constant upload stream off?

For those whose latency goes up to 999 the whole time, you must know, there's definitely something big going on the background.

Frank, only advice I can give you at this time is to disable the steam cloud synchronization under the games settings in steam. Nothing else we can do. It's just bad netcode.
