Official Destiny Thread

I'm up to level 32 on my Titan finally. How do I get higher?

I have exotic helm, and the rest all legendary equipment. How or where do I get higher light rated armor?

seems like the Crota raid is the way to go after level 32

You gonna be delving into this again?

I'm just asking, I seem to remember you saying you were going to borrow it from a friend? though doubt you'll have the expansion then?

I was contemplating trading TLOU for Destiny but was told that it's not worth it

I think I'm gonna wait for the Taken King physical (legendary edition) copy before buying it again. Just seems to be a better deal than buying the game now and getting all the DLC seperately.

Without the expansion I tend to agree, this is why I think I lost interest back then. But since picking it up a few weeks ago (now that both expansions are out) I think I've claimed around 80 hours and still enjoying it. I am in no way trying to sell you on it or defend the game. It's repetitive as hell, but oh so fun. Bungie really know how to make good solid gun play!

Well you could buy the Legendary Edition which is best value for money. I think that will at least get you playing now until the release of TTK (and include it).

How much is the legendary edition? Raru have TTK physical copy on pre-order for R797, which seems like a decent price.

As far as I know the Legendary Edition is $80, which includes base game and all expansions along with in-game swag.

I believe there are two editions:
1. Legendary Edition = $60 , which is Original Game + 2 Expacs + Taken King and zero extras. (this is the one that is going for R600-R700 on Raru and is very decent pricing indeed)

2. Collectors Edition = $80 , all of Legendary + stuff that makes you throw money at the screen (emotes/shaders/items).

If you buy the digital versions of above editions now, you can already start playing, the Taken King will obviously then only unlock when it releases. I bought #2 for about R1k , thank you SARS. :-)

EDIT:
Found an official quote
http://www.gottabemobile.com/2015/06/16/destiny-the-taken-king-release-date-revealed/
The Destiny: The Taken King release date is September 15th, but Activision and Bungie are treating the game like a full-fledged new title in the series.

A digital Destiny: The Taken King download is coming for $39.99. It’ll only include the expansion itself.

Separately there are Destiny: The Taken King Legendary and Collector’s Edition versions coming. A boxed copy of Destiny: The Taken King – Legendary Edition costs $59.99 and includes all of the previous content release for the game like Destiny: The Dark Below and Destiny: House of Wolves.

Destiny: The Taken King – Collector’s Edition costs $79.99 and includes everything that the Legendary Edition does, plus a collector’s edition steelbook case, a Treasure Island book, notes from Cayde 6, plus relics and artifacts. This version of the game will also include some exclusive digital content, mainly three specific emotes for the new classes, armor shaders and new add-on XP bonuses complete with class items.
