It's more about hardware compatibility than requirements. Some of the intel cpu's experience micro stutter because of core parking.
 
Will confirm cpu tonight, running core i5 33something , 16gb ram, ssd, Ati R9 280.

It starts off ok, then about 10 seconds after cockpit loaded, stuttering on both video and sound.

Not really possible to do much atm until wings is added to the game. When I've tried to do it there have been sync issues which makes it pointless.

Hey Wyzak, hows it going there.

Wings will defo make it better, but just wondering if you guys are friend'd etc.

Can't say we have that much sync issues currently. It's quite easy to drop on each other's wake and help out. That said can't wait for Wings so one can properly do missions, bounties etc together.

What ships are you guys flying? I'm currently in a Clipper

Hey SnowWar, long time :)

Will try it out again on Thursday evening. Hopefully the sync issues have been fixed.

Haven't had much time to play, but just recently bought a hauler to try some cargo runs.
 
Getting a bit bored with the game. Making about 600k per hour in my type 6 but starting to feel its pointless. Make more money, buy bigger ship and start the whole routine all over again.

Yes Wyzak, been some time. Been doing the RL thing :)

Ye Reavs, it does feel a bit like that sometimes, but that's the time I grab the Viper and just go have fun with the friends.
I do feel that now is the time with grind a bit and make the money with the hopes that Wings will bring the opportunity for loads of fun with friends.
They do plan to fix mining & bounty hunting somewhat to make it a real alternative to trading. I hope they do that properly as that would make things far more interesting.

I have a nice little trade run with the Clipper, nets me about 3.5mil an hour. I'm sure you should be making more in the region of 1.2-1.4mil/h with that t6
 
Yeah you are right. Posted that before having my first cup of coffee this morning. It should be closer to 1.2 mil with my currently doing ~100k per 5min round trip.

I'm hoping wings fixes all the current issues with mp. I'm a bit peeved that they are only adding proper mp features post launch, yet they market it as an online experience with your mates.

Yep, that really annoys me with the state of gaming today. It's not okay that the game is released half-baked but called v1.0

Yes that MP features should have been there already.

I remember I was running a ASP with 116 cargo space I think.
Profit of 1550 one way and then 1200 the other way. Took about 10 mins for the trip, so lets say that's about 319k per 10 mins x 6 = 1.9mil
With T6 that can land on Outposts (medium bay) one can find loads of places that will net you 2700/t for the 2 commodities combined. It's about getting one with a nice distance and stations not far from the stars.

Atm the commodities seems to be bugged, so even if you find a place that will net you 2800/t but the demand or availability is only 900, it is perfectly fine as it will stay at that 900 and u can just trade forever. So make use of that atm :)

Obviously if you can find a nice Seeking Luxury spot that can constantly net you more than 1k/t and its close to the station that would be great.
I had a spot that gave me 1200/t and took me 3:30 to do the round trip. Only lasted a few days before someone found it out and posted it online and it tanked :(

I really really just wish we get to the point where we can decide between Mining, Trading, Bounty Hunting & Transporting Passengers (Orca etc) and make the same sort of living from all of them.
Combine that with Wings and you can go out and have fun together with your friends and make a good "living"

Was bored the other night so i loaded up a mining laser and headed for the nearest asteroid field. About 5 mins later was back at the station switching back to my trader load out. Scooping up the pieces of rock is such a exercise in patience.

Anyone else using Slopeys BPC? I've stopped updating prices lately.

Lol yes scooping sux big time :(

Yep I've used Slopey's, exporting the data to excel and sorting it there to get routes.
Also use other sites and apps (will list them), but the best way really is to find routes yourself a bit further away that everyone don't know about, specially seeking luxury spots and run that.

What if you mine with a friend? Can you mine and he scoop up the rock and then swop when his cargo bay is full?
