Wow Chelsea 1-0 after being dominated by City.

I wouldn't go as far as saying it was a domination. Chelsea were certainly outplayed; but City were lucky that the end result was only 1-0.
We all know that in football regardless of how well you play it's the goals that win the game; and Chelsea definitely had the greater and more numerous opportunities to actually score said goals.

Well, it's a good result for the league, even though United have zero hope. Gunners will be thrilled though.

Gunners are indeed thrilled...but lets hope that their happiness leads to complacency Saturday against pool

Another Red Devil here, things will eventually get better for us, no hope for this season though.

On home ground, I'm a Kaizer Chiefs supporter, and to that end, I'm confident that we'll be taking the Absa Premiership :D.

Did you watch the game ? :S

I wouldn't say city dominated at all, in the very early game yes, but in the 10min before and after the Chelsea goal City were completely flustered, making mistakes, getting angry with eachother, Chelsea were dominating them over that period. In the second half I would say City were attacking more but never dominated the game. (Chelsea hit the post 3 times)

Matic and Willian were all over Toure, Hazard had Zabaleta in his back pocket.

Silva had the 2 best chances which he hit wide both times.

At the time of my post City had 70% of the possession in the first half. At the time Chelsea scored against the run of play. It did change as you correctly pointed out where Chelsea played with more confidence ultimately deserving to win.

I predict that the Gunners with thump Liverpool!

i dunno, pool on their day can be dangerous. Suarez has been a man possessed this season. i'm hoping its a draw. but if a team has to win, i shall then root for the Gunners :-) i'm part of the "ABL" contingent. Anyone But Liverpool "whistling:

I haven't seen you at the meetings, I guess we would miss each other considering how packed the contingent is :p

hehe :-) been a proud card carrying member of ABL for over 2 decades now :-) thankfully, the scousers have always managed to shoot themselves in the foot season after season, despite the ongoing promises that "this is our season" :D

Actually Liverpool go into this with an advantage. Considering that Arsenal is missing quite a few key members of their squad; and Liverpool have won more games against Arsenal, we might see a Liverpool victory.

Yeah Suarez is playing that otherwise football. He may continue his rampant scoring streak come saturday[fingers crossed :D].

And as much as I dislike Liverpool; Their victory is beneficial to Chelsea so...

You make a good point. I just don't see Liverpool lifting their game enough to beat Arsenal.
