hmmmm, sounds like it's worth the $2.99It's actually a lot of fun. You control a little alien directly, who can control another little alien (The Maw) on a leash. You both were abducted by some other aliens, and are trying to escape their planet. The goal is basically to feed The Maw to make him grow big enough that you can get to the next area. He can also eat different creatures which give him different abilities.
I'd say it's a bit of a puzzle game, but mostly lots of exploring and a bit of action. I would definitely recommend it.
Deus Ex is a steal at the current price on steam, I highly recommend it if you havn't played it:

While that is a crazy awesome price for a really good game, at the same time iirc the "Director's Cut" version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be out later this year and that version has all the crappy boss fights replaced by properly developed ones so I would highly recommend that. Although $3 is a CRAZY price.![]()
Ooh that sounds good, the boss fights in Deus Ex HR were the biggest downfall of the game.
Why, what's wrong with the boss fights?
Why, what's wrong with the boss fights?
There was only one way to kill them brute force. I tried to do a take down from behind on the first boss and it just didn't work. Basically if you tried to stealth through the game and assigned your points to stealth abilities you were totally screwed in the boss fights.

The game can be played stealthy, I played most of the non-boss battles stealthy. Just don't make a 100% stealth build.
As far as I remember, the boss fights were made by a different company than that which made the main game (No idea why)
