Online specials: Steam, Greenman Gaming, GamersGate, etc

Thing is, I'm not sure whether Just Cause 3 is really worth it... JC2 was fun, but grew old really fast.

Yeah JC3 is kind of boring, but I already own it so it doesn't matter :D

I think I'll wait for a different sale though, I currently have too many games that I actually enjoy playing, so between that and work I have a lot to keep me busy.

Got Subnautica. Was looking at getting Empyrion/Space Engineers as well but i think I'd rather wait for No Man's Sky.

Might get Divinity:OS CE though

I think someone may have mentioned this preciously, or i saw it on my Twitter TL, i forget. But still damned true!

Now, I have crafted a few badges and sold a few double trading cards, but how do you go big and trade it for games? It's a foreign concept to me.

Crafting badges only nets you experience points that increases your Steam level and gives you a profile background and often an emoticon. Selling cards will add funds to your Steam wallet (when they eventually get sold in the market), which you can use to buy games with.

So you don't trade cards and badges for games, you buy games with the funds from selling cards.

I have sold a few double trade cards now and had a small discount this weekend buying a game.

looks like I'll only be shopping Party Hard this sale

what did you have your eye on ? I had STRIDER, SHADOWRUN HONG KONG and CHAOS REBORN in cart (over and above the below) but i moved them back to wishlist to reduce cash outlay. So for now, just plotting to get SUBNAUTICA, OXENFREE and 12 IS BETTER THAN 6.

couple of things. Still really want GTA V, but it's still to pricey for my budget. I can shop Party Hard at the end of the sale with trade card monies

You'll do well to get Subnautica if you like crafting survival games.

truth be told, i'm not a massive fan of crafting survival games. but the undersea exploration aspect seemed cathartic. Will give it a bash

It sure is a pretty looking game, and the developers are very open about their roadmap, in fact they have a full Trello board on what they're working on for the public to see.

Think i might get Space Engineers. I want to build something like BSG and the crash it into a planet. Either that or Empyrion.
