I'll wait for the 720. Will keep an eye on the Ouya though.
The problem is that for double the price you can get a decent secondhand XBox 360. For example (http://www.carbonite.co.za/f13/xbox-360-slim-250gb-2-wireless-controllers-44761/)
Most console owners will have no reason to get an Ouya and people looking to get a console will do better to go with a 360 because of not only the superior hardware but also the amount of games out there. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't see the Ouya doing all that well. It will be great if it does well mind you.

If the AAA games can't be played on it then it will go nowhere.
As far as I know, Amazon charges shipping for delivieries outside the USA.
Here are the Shipping rates and times to Africa: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_rel_topic?ie=UTF8&nodeId=596186

you can order straight from Ouya store. They charge $25 to ship to SA. Was R1200 ($99 + $25) (just under) for the console + shipping yesterday.
Any form of import duty associated with shipping one?
