Press ctrl shift R I think it was...or its in the options somewhere. Shows fps top left.

There are also 2 yellow icons left side of screen like 30% from top - a circle one for high ping and three panes with middle one greyed out indicating packet loss.

Next time you're playing check which server its connecting to (not aware of a way to see that in game so I used glasswire). Would love to see where thats going that you're not getting lag. Its using amazon infrastructure in addition to Bliz servers, but afaik there is no amazon tech in ZA...or anywhere close for that matter so I'd be surprised if you don't get latency 200+ latency...and that you should definitely feel.

Well I agree with you there, every other game I've played on EU servers I have had 200ms+ pings and becomes noticeable. This was my biggest concern since I learned of the game and thus was not interested in it. The beta has given me a chance to test it out and I for one am pleased on it's performance.
 
Played 2 rounds, latency didn't seem to be to much of an issue, noticed it a couple times. I actually find the gameplay to be a little boring, just didn't seem to be my thing. It was fun, but not fun enough that I would get my moneys worth. I think I would stop playing after a week or 2.
 
Fixed my latency issue by disabling all the startup items on my laptop. Not sure which one was the culprit...but now its a stable <25 ping. Yay

Yeah, I did a CTRL+SHIFT+R to show the ping etc and it averages around 200-230ms, and honestly I find I'm playing fairly well and not noticing much issues. Though I probably won't play sniper classes it's actually working out quite well. On a bad matchmaking instance it can climb to 300ms. But honestly I think the netcode on this game is great.

I quite enjoyed my time playing this game over the weekend - but I don't think I would get it at full price right now - $60 is a bit steep for what it is.

Perhaps that's why the open beta is only a few days. Not long enough for people to get bored with it :D

I thought with Battle.net you can change your region at will now? So you can buy the US version and still play on the Euro servers.

Ya I see that you can switch regions but I'm not sure if they are region locked. If not I would imagine everyone would rather buy the dollar version. Well, I won't be getting it now either way.

Well scheptisism pht to rest played this over the weekend and ill buy it now it can be lots of fun. Had 3 rounds vs ai vot to lvl 2 but not once did i die and i have a kill streak of 35 :p. Ill be getting this def.

I don't know, but heard that Battleborn is the same concept and also heaps of fun. Check it out perhaps?
