Path of Exile

I created an account, but I'll only start downloading once The Witcher 2 is completed.
 
How the hell do you fast travel in this game?
I know about active waypoints, inactive waypoints and scrolls but either I had one too many beers last night or I'm confuzzled.

If you click on a waypoint, a map of the world will pop up. You can click on any activated waypoint (filled circle) on the map to teleport there.

Not sure if this is where your issue it. It works pretty much the same as the Diablo games.

Yeah that's it. So you have to "fast travel" from waypoints themselves - you can't just do it from anywhere?

Yeah, or if you're in a hurry you can use a town portal and use the waypoint there to get to another one quickly.
 
So this game is officially being released today, and you'll be able to get it on Steam from tonight.

Is anyone else planning to re-download this through Steam? You can get achievements and trading cards, so it seems like a good idea to me.

Will copy my game into steam and hope it doesn't need to download the whole dam game.

This will probably make me play again.
 
Just remembered I had paid for content like bag space and visuals, hope I can use my old account on Steam (That is if I can remember the password)

i'm sure it's going to be like most free to play games where you still have to login to their own client.

it should be fine. you are just changing game client. your account stays intact

I hope it updates through steam also. Most of these games have their own launcher that updates the game when you launch it.
