I like it! I think workshops will now get much busier and I'm prepared to pay for a mod that took a lot of work.

Yeah I just think that websites like nexus will now shutdown since well people are going to use steam to make money since money talks. Also crooks stealing mods from the nexus and putting it on steam for money.
I would have preferred a donation model. They should have added a system that allowed you to donate to workshop devs if you wanted to, as most modders do it for fun or love of a game. Doing something for money vs doing it for love tend to yield different results.
Also my problem with paid for mods is what have they put in place to prevent abuse. What can you do if a mod that you bought gets broken with an update and the dev abandon it, or if you buy a mod only to find out that it is noway near what was marketed.
Too bad the modder themselves will only get 25% cut for their "hard work".
My opinion, not gonna go down well...
EDIT: Damn you Tsar! beat me by like 15 seconds...![]()
honestly Great mods have been coming out without this. This system is going to be abused like the green light system. Not everything valve does is good.

Valve takes 25% Just reinforces my opinion of Valve, money printing machine, kiss HL3, Portal 3, etc goodbye and forget about it. Also, its criminal to take 75% of someones money. Does part of that money (of the 75%) to go Bethesda?
On the other side, albeit a small side, if the modder got a better %, it would be nice to thank a good modder for his/her word.
