PC hardware and Gaming specials

Those prices are still a bit high since I imported RE5 for R400 a couple months ago.

SFIV Xbox isn't a bad price AT ALL - considering it retails for R700.

I'm waiting for the price of Dirt2 to drop a bit before grabbing it. I also need to look at the bargain bins for Force Unleashed. Really keen to finish that game. :(

It is the one with MW2 cover (think it is Dec issue) - pg 4/5 - two page add. The company name is Vision Technologies in Midrand.

Ahh. yes I see it. Dont understand why it is so cheap when the other brands of GTX 260 are like R2000?

i work in Midrand and some of the guys here get there stuff from vision tech and they are good
Thanks for the peace of mind - will definetly support them. :)
I also saw some Inno3D benchmarks and these cards seem to be just as good as any other brand.

I always never go for brands like that, i bought a BFG 8800gt benched the same as all the other cards, and sadly it started over heating after 3 months of use. Those other cards are not more expensive for no reason, yes some times because of there brand name which means more expensive, but i have seen many pc problems, and been on many pc help forums around the world helping out people. One of the main problems in hardware failure is the brand.

So just keep that in mind. R400 rand is a lot of money to me, but i will rather save a little longer than not and get a card for less. Just a heads up :)

:D LOL. There's nothing wrong with preferring a brand due to warranty or "added value" but when it comes to cards that are on par then fanboi'ism is stupid.
