Not bad. But I need a PSU of more than 650w. Anyone know of someone selling something like that, or good deals?

Soz only saw the coments now.

Shot guys, ok I want to be running the following soon:

Core i5 750
Asus P55-E mobo (dont know the exact name)
4GB of performance RAM
2x ATi 5770's in Crossfire
1 TB HDD
Case light or two

According to the power consumption calculator I used, it says that I would use approximately 600w. Should a decent 650w supply be adequate? or is there not enough room for error?

What psu are you running now. Maybe save the money and get someting like a corsair 550w. according to corsair you can run an overclocked i5 with a 5970 1 hdd on a mildly overclocked system (5% - 30%)

So what are you planning to spend on graphics cards and power supply together. maybe get a bit lower psu and better graphics card. 5970 is better and consume less power than 2x 5770. if this is a new system maybe save some money on motherboard and then save up some money to get a better gpu or cpu. they are the most important.

I also used this one and recommended is about 500w for 24/7 usage. Even a i5 750 overclocked at 4GHz 1.5v is about 560w so how did you come to over 650w? So a corsair 550W will be more than enough cause they underrate there PSU's

I still dont know about the P55 chipset with SLI/Crossfire. That 8x 8x bandwidth problem.

These solid states are 1st gen though, i would pay the extra R200 or R300 and get 2nd gen intel solid states. I have got 2x 2nd gen intel solid states in raid0 and they are awesome.
