PC vs PlayStation 4 vs Xbox One cost comparison
On which gaming platform do your Randelas go further?

I'm not going to take bite of this bait, something fishy here.
I love all my platforms, as much as they all cost me. The PC is nice to have when money is a bit tight and I don't want to fork out R800 for a new game (if it is available on PC too that is).
True. I remember the days you could get a new AAA title for R300. It's only pushing people further away from PC gaming. A good rig itself is already so expensive.Well PC games are getting quite close to the R800 price tag. Not far off. Like the New BF Hardline, R600 :/
Well I'm sure that as a person with all the latest platforms you should be able to construct a good idea on how it is to live with each, and why to prefer the one over the other...
...and you conveniently forgot to add a mouse, keyboard and possibly even a controller to the PC bundle. Without those it's just an expensive coaster sitting under your desk. So tack on another R1000 at least to the PC build.

These savings can be put towards a basic keyboard and mouse, which were left off the component list for this very reason.
Only time a gaming PC becomes cheaper is with Steam and Bundle sales, but then you're forced to play older games.

You can't do a comparison of a "console killing" PC and only use a R300 set of peripherals. I dread gaming on a cheap bundle like that. My HT keyboard+mouse cost more than that and I'll never be able to game with that. Sure, a R300 keyboard alone should suffice, but you'll need to add on a R400 mouse at least. You can get a keyboard and mouse for R200-R300.
