Well i have had no problems downloading the game directly,i am sure i can just manually add it to steam later if i want.
 
OK guys the game looks really promising, but to anyone playing after release: How is the latency? Is it noticeable at all? Can you jam lekker?
 
I still can't get this to work. :( Verified steam files a couple of times and tried tunnelbear (as suggested on steam and other forums), but still nothing. Keep getring launchpad unable to connect.
 
Finally got to play this morning and I'm VERY impressed. I can see myself playing quite a bit of this game. :D
 
Decided to go with the separate launcher install instead of Steam which decided to start from scratch yet again. Since it worked that way for me during the beta I figured I'd go that route.
I'm hoping my performance in game will be a bit better, have been hearing that the game isn't kind on AMD processors :(

@ Wlad, are you having troubles loggin in? Or just getting the launchpad to run?

Performance is mostly fine for me AMD Phenom II 965. It's just when you get to heavily populated zones that it starts to take a dip, but I've heard of people with i7's also having serious fps issues.

I can't log in or anything. When I click play in steam it opens the launchpad and then just gives some unable to connect error.
 
Ok, still hopping between my Vanu and TR characters, Vanu still does not have that "punch" with their guns, love the TR weapons though.

I noticed this morning, since my one char is on USA East , those servers were High population while EU servers were all Low pop. So it is worth scanning the servers at various times to see what they look like during the times you most likely going to play. Looks like USA East have a sweet spot in terms of 24-7 activity, but will see after this weekend when the USA's holiday weekend is over.

For us? Maybe, but i am not noticing a difference. The EU servers were all underperforming the last few days so there were more lag on there than on the USA ones. I also suppose it depends on your ISP, SAT3 vs Seacom etc.

Antivirus or firewall maybe blocking it? Have you tried another ISP?

I have no anti-virus or firewall. Can't try another ISP either, got wireless. It's not that big a deal, don't mind the cap I used and I do have a shitload of other games to play. Will keep on trying though.
