Last night's play. I got a new RX 580 so trying out the highlights on ReLive. Will play around with OBS tonight.

Anyway: a pan saved my life, a bike killed me, and I stood up at the end when prone would have given me dinner! Man, when my heart is pumping so much you would think more of the oxygen reaches my brain, but no...


BTW, tha screenshot is not me celebrating anything!

For the guys still playing this, I assume there are no local servers for this? (Googling made it look like no)

I can only imagine playing this with 200+ ms latency is quite frustrating.

Was wondering myself.. I would assume the high ping would cause some frustration but i'm sure the die-hard fans would say otherwise.

No local servers, servers are hosted on AWS and thus no MP servers here until we have AWS services in country
 
I personally have no problem playing with the 200ms+ ping, the servers are not that bad. Had my fair share of chicken dinners, which tells me that the lag cant be that bad. I mostly play on EU servers but I know a lot of people playing on Asian and even North american servers.
The SA PUBG community is quite big and growing, and we even have a few local streamers. Play it ,it is definitely worth that R300 bucks.

I get an average ping of 20ms

But afaik PUBG is in the process of moving to Azure
