PlayStation 4 selling for R5,599 – but hurry

Ya im pretty sure come Christmas the PS4 will be selling with a game for close on 5K... They really have timed things really well with their launch, especially with regards to SA as the X1 launched so late...

Don't bank on distributor-based X-Mas deals. Spoke to Ster-Kinekor recently and they do not have any price cuts planned for the festive season (or so they say).

Retailers may give their own discounts - which I hope they do.

Seriously? I would have thought they would make a huge push to give consumers no choice in the "console war"
