I don't think letting you win one will be too much of a problem. In fact I'm going to tell everyone I let you win to save a bit of face.

If you want a challenge, pick Formula A, then pick the full length Azure WestBound. Epically funny when you get to some of the dips and crests in that car lol Good luck

I've been playing this for about one hour, and up to this point I've driven one car around one track times. The rest has been set playing with the monumental amount of options this game has. There are more options to tinker with in this Xbox One game than most games has in total.

It is more of a sim but with some learning you will really enjoy it.I finally finished my first season I now am in supercarts the sense of speed is awesome using helmet cam my ai is set at 80.

Great session this evening, thanks for hosting [MENTION=56]StoneCold[/MENTION]. We're not going to top the global leaderboards just yet, but we sure had a lot of fun trying!
Managed to save the replay of the first lap of our last race, and will get it onto the Youtubeface thing soon as I figure out the best way to make that happen.

No problem man, was good fun with you and [MENTION=4071]BeoTeK[/MENTION]. The pressure is so immense when racing against real people, if you're at the front, one lapse of concentration and you might lose a spot or two
Really helps when you're chasing someone, as I was behind Shadow that last lap on Brands Hatch and closing in on him fast, last corner he nearly spun and I almost overtook him. Epic game, epic race. Glad that we managed to find another local by random. I did invite him to the Steam group. I suppose if we keep on hosting via the dedicated server, other locals will spot it as well and hopefully join

So, I've spent some time with the game, and I have some comments on my first impression:
Firstly: Handling
The driving is much different from other racing titles like Forza. I've played hundreds of hours of Forza, so naturally I assumed I would be able to pick-up and go with Project Cars. Not the case at all. I struggled getting to grips with the handling of the cars, and the first few races I entered didn't go so well at all. Luckily, as in Forza, there are many options to tweak to make the game as easy or as difficult as you need. After tinkering with is some more, I got a setup that I liked, and I was competitive once again. As I play more and more of the game, I will probably get better and drop some of the assists, but for now I'm happy with leaving them on.
Secondly: Graphics
Oh......My......Word....... I never knew such beauty. The game is an absolute stunner, even while playing it on the Xbox One. The way the sunlight dances through the trees as you drive at sunset, the detail of each car, the terror that night racing provides. All these are perfectly captured by the graphics of the game. Very impressed
Thirdly: Performance
Ah yes, here is where everyone is gonna troll me for buying it on Xbox One instead of PC. I have to concede, there are some performance issues with the game on Xbox. I've seen some times where the frame rate dipped drastically from 60 fps to 30 fps, but these are few and far between. The rest of the time the game is quite happy to run at 60 fps the whole time. Also, I'm sure that even if you put a gun to my head, I would not be able to tell 900p and 1080p from each other, even if the Xbox One upscales from 900p.
These are the first things that stood out for me in my first few hours of the game. If there are any other Xbox One owners of the game looking for a racing partner, give me a shout.

For some reason my game just closes after a race or 3 or sometimes if i just quit a session it closes no error message nothing just gone. The Handling in this game is insane and the amount of tweaking there is is absurd i still haven't tweaked out my wheel full and i have to say it's actually easier with the control than the steering wheel. We also have a dedicated server and i'll post the details once i'm back home you guys can even join our TS.
I'm glad i got the limited edition and i see that we got our first custom liveries pack on PC don't know if the consoles got them. I see on the forum too that there is a thread for liveries and if you cycle through any car's livery the is a blank gridlined one saying custom so you can add your own i'm currently working on one in Photoshop CS. I will post the VR46 one i made for Game stock car here too some time and when i'm done with the other one i'll post it here too

Haven't had any issues myself, but have seen a couple of people mention random crashes like you had (at least on PC). There have been a couple of patches put out - are you updated?

On PS4 and yes I updated over the weekend. Was a 817MB patch.

+1 to all of what [MENTION=9789]DieGrootHammer[/MENTION] said, and more. Coming round a corner on the last lap of a race to have the setting sun, that wasn't there before, blinding you is glorious!
Sadly I doubt we'll ever see any level of cross-platform racing. I see that the devs are already having to deal with XB1 players not being able to join lobbies and only able to join random races with random players in them. "Due to first party reasons we can't offer a lobby browser on XBoxOne".

Wow the ai in this game is hit and miss on some tracks they are fine but on tracks with hairpins and tight corners they just plow straight into you.My race engineer has disapeared.I had one race where he spoke but since then nothing.
