Project Cars

Original game download?

You've bought and downloaded the game after DLC has come out, so it should all be included in one download, the beauty of Steam. It's not going to download base game and then updates follow, it will download what it needs to be current.

yay So that means hopefully tonight I can play :D 3.5gig to go :D Cannot wait to setup the wheel with this game. It has already made F1 so easy!

it's insane what a difference it makes to lap times eh. I used think it was marginal, but there's huge differences once you can "feel" the car and track.

It makes a huge difference, the main thing is for me it makes the car's more manageable as well as my reaction times are faster on the wheel than with a controller - for F1 it makes the activation of Kers and DRS a non issue, now I just keep an eye out for the DRS line and off I go. It was very funny to watch my dad with the wheel - he was consistently 30secs slower than me on tracks that he knew better than I did. I also found that my memory of the tracks are better when I use the wheel, its more instinctive. Now its a case of learning to use the wheel properly as well as getting used to changing my gears but OMG its fun, its tiring and it gives you a bloody good upper body workout - my wheel is set to at least 70% weight for all games since I found less makes it harder to steer. I cannot wait to try out Project cars tonight.

Hehehe aka give me a chance :P I need to get used to all the warming up of tires and so forth :p I am still a novice dammit!

Ok so what career path should I take? I was thinking Formula Rookie. I did a few time trials with various cars, so much still to learn but its fun. And ironically Im doing good on the track even tho I am using my own blended setup with driving assists for now.

I had to up my ai difficulty to 90 percent I won my first gt3 race by 27 seconds with all assist off using a ds4.It was at Laguna Seca a track I have done five million laps at in forza and gt,maybe the next race will be more tricky.

Can the people who have steering wheels just give me an idea on how they did the setup - just the normal steering sensitivity and so forth, even with my deadzone thingy on its lowest setting, it currently looks and feels like I am driving and nothing is happening - aka turn the wheel and nothing.

All the threads I have found so far are for FFB wheels which I don't have.

I'm not familiar with the site.

Have you changed, altered or over-written any game files with other downloaded files?

Not at all, havent been that brave yet. The car setup site is actually useful especially since I suck at setting up cars :P

Windows and PrC should both have calibration options. Be sure to go through these. At the very least windows should be able to so you the tracking and movement, test it there and see if it is correct.

I just need to see if I can find it in windows, that is the fun part right now.
