PS3 price cut R2500 - Worth it now?

Getting my first bunch of games, God of War series for one. Been hearing from all me m8s how amazing it is for years now bah. My time has comee!

Also looking forward to October's releases of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon and Dragonball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi.
 
I've yet to play GoW3 but the first two were enjoyable. Played some Gran Turismo 5, Amazing HD quality and realism
 
Gonna say what everyone else did...

I bought mine for R5k, and it was money well spent... at this price, I am thinking of getting a second one for the bedroom :)
 
I think that is a good price, you can import your hdmi cable from amazon or something, coz the 1.5m cable here are like R200 lol :/
 
Got a PS3 yesterday!! Got chance to play today, bought Gran Turismo 5 and Uncharted 1 so far! Looking at getting the GoW and MGS HD collection, and Uncharted 2 if I love 1 :D

So far been playing GT5, disappointed that you can't have a cockpit view for the standard cars:eek:

I bought GT5 last week Friday for R259, which I think was a good price, brand new (non-platinum range). Last week Wednesday I also bought Uncharted 1 and 2 in a double pack and I have to say UC is brilliant. I'm at a real tricky part in the game at the moment, but it's awesome.

Sweet now if my old PS3 kicks the bucket (Touch wood) I can afford a new one :D I'd still appreciate special prices through!

Resistance 1 was pretty good, I didn't actually enjoy 2 as much strangely. If you like over the top racing Motorstorm series.
