Both of those are amazing. I'm not the biggest sport games fan, but these 2 games are excellent.

The Myplayer mode in NBA2K14 is probably the best career mode I've ever seen in a game. That's pretty much all I play when I play NBA. I barely touch the main game and only play the career where you build up your own player. I've been playing it since I got the PS4 in December and I'm still in the first season, lol. The graphics are also some of the best I've ever seen (for a sport game). This game's engine (eco motion) is very impressive, character models are very realistic and the lighting is really good as well. The lights reflecting on the court look amazing.

MLB14 is great as well, although a bit difficult for me still. I haven't played it that much (yet), but what I have played is pretty awesome. Pitching is not that hard, but I'm still struggling with batting a bit. It's hard to tell when to go for a hit and when to leave the ball. You have to pay very close attention to the pitcher to try and figure out what he's gonna throw. The game is also really impressive visually.

I'd recommend both of these games if you are even remotely interested in either of the sports. Both are great simulators of the real thing and both are a lot of fun to play.
 
I would lilke getting NBA and MLB, but think I will hold out for the newer versions. Maybe NFL as well. With their target market these games tend to have big budgets, unlike our local sports (cricket and rugby games). Played Fifa on PS4, and while it's great, I think Fifa takes the title as the game which is destroying analogue sticks the fastest. Played for about a week and could see the rubber on especially the left analogue detoriating.

Makes sense... when do the 2015 counterparts normally get release?

I know FIFA is mostly after the transfer windows and such, do they all follow suite or do they vary dates/times as per the game type?

No idea to be honest. Fifa 15 is on it's way this year sometime, and I think the new NBA as well. MLB only released a few months back, so maybe that's only next year. The new Madden is also on its way this year as far as I know. NHL is also this year (think I saw it on a pre-order page).

NBA I would be interested in, I kinda understand it. MLB I can get the just of it. But Madden NFL? Not a f*ck do I understand a thing about that. NHL I've always enjoyed.

Fastest way to understand NFL... Get your hands on Madden ;) Its probably the prettiest EA Sports game as well... Once you get into it its surprisingly addictive and very easy to understand...

Maybe see if it's got a demo... I understand it could be a very strategic sports game.
 
Just found someone wanting to trade their Killzone Shadowfall for Injustice on the PS4.

I think I'll have to succumb and trade him ^_^
Anxious to see Shadowfall.

FIFA is usually released around the time of the start of the Premier league, Think its beginning of September this year.

I would go for it. injustice on PS4 is not that much different than on PS3.
 
NBA 15 is launching the 9th of October. Graphically it does look good, but I shall wait for reviews before getting slam dunked.

If the last few years' NBA (2K) games are anything to go by, the new one will be awesome. I've been buying them on PS3 since 2K11 and 2K14 on PS4 is amazing. The visuals are some of the best on the system and the game is immense fun to play. As I've mentioned before the career mode is really something special and I can't wait to see how they've improved it for the new game. Really looking forward to 2K15, but with all the other big releases in October (Borderlands & AC Unity specifically), I'll probably only be able to get it a bit later this year.
