rAge 2011 expo tickets give-away (closed)

We are starting up a informative and community website for gaming movies and comics for South Africa only. It will be very beneficial for us to go to Rage and bump some elbows with some of the best people and industry leaders in SA.
 
I went to r@ge last year and it was one of the worst "Expos" I have ever seen in my life. In fact it was a giant LAN party with a couple of kiosk with overpriced equipment. Except for the AlienWare stand there wasn't really any new tech that you would expect to find at an expo. It was so bad the only stayed open to 5 o'clock and it only took you 15 min to get through the whole "expo". So why would I like the ticket you ask? Maybe I'm just hopeful that its better this year. But I'm not prepared to drive all the way there, pay 100 bucks and find out its the same crap as last year. At least if it sucks and I did not have to pay to get in I can go and blow my R100 at Hooter's.
 
Because i love games and i love tech!
And i haven't been to any rage yet!!!
And if i dont get to go to Rage soon, i might just start to rage :p
 
I have not attended Rage b4 but all my friends rave about the tech available and the lastest games. I would love to come out and have a go at the event and next year hopefully get a place at the NAG LAN. Rock On GAMERS!!!
 
any SA gamer knows that rage is a must. i personally have sucked at getting myself to the rage expo annually. i have been for 1 ages ago. i really have to get there this year. a free set of tickets would be awesome. if not i will still make sure im there. I got a new addition to my family who loves games. my 19 month old daughter. So she will be there with me.

I have wanted to go for years but lived in east london so could never really afford the trip down and the tickets. I have moved to JHB just over a month ago so now going to rAge is a possibility this year i really wana go and join syco's group :) oh btw if i win Juji you can have my other ticket ;)
 
Ohhh it's been dokies years since the I have been to a rage expo. Infact I ran the servers for 2 years back in the early 2000's Good times ! Well I would love to go back and get my newb ass powned by a 12 year old :)
 
September is a hard month generally for myself and my girl friend, with the month of september riddled with continuous birthdays every weekend(Including mine), it becomes a very hard challenge to budget for the year just for Rage.

We generally spend our anniversary every year at rage.Rage is also the place where I got her interested in playing games and anime.It was too the place where I bought her first anime (cant get her off it).Please help with tickets as i do not wanna loose this tradition with her.Also to note: If i take her i lvl up with immediate affects.

I have been attending the RAGE expo every year since I have moved to Joburg in 2006. I am an avid gamer who have been gaming since the age of 3 which makes it a total number of 34 years! Its part of who I am. RAGE is a commemorating event of my life as a gamer. I have played games on all the different consoles and owned most of them starting with the Atari 2600. First game ever played was Sea Wolf where the shopkeeper had to place a crate in front of the console for my head to reach the periscope lol.
 
I would love to go again this year. Many people complain about the quality of the expo, but I don't actually have anything bad to say about it. Cool games (which we get to play long before release), nice specials, awesome cosplay-ers...even the little artists corner has something cool to display. This year though, I'll take a bigger backpack, more money and my GF (see, I need two tickets).
 
I would like to win so that I can join the MyG group to tag along with to the Expo before the M&G braai on the Sat!! enuf said. :)
 
I am a bit older than the average gamer, and missed a few years of gaming after the 16bit area... For the last few years I check the forums every day, read and re-read all the reviews, watch all the trailers I can and follow the gaming news religiously. I have played online, casually, seriously and even applied for a reviewing positions on the net. Yet I have not been to RAGE...
 
Every year, I plan to go to rAge. And every year my plan is thwarted by evil circumstances. This year, if I have the tickets beforehand, I will be guaranteed not to end up miserable and not at rAge. I would cherish these tickets, not for their monetary value, but for their ability to give me an undeniable excuse to NOT miss rAge this year. Thank you and goodnight :D
 
I fly up from Cape Town for rAge every year since I've been 15!
Its just a magical place to be where everybody around shares the same interests as you!
Would really love to be one of the winners of a pair of awsum rAge 2011 tickets to make my journey even more AWSOME!!!
 
Lived in Cape Town and now moved up to Joburg so more of a chance to visit rAge! Plus what more do you want than checking out the booth babes!

I wont bore much of your time telling you misleading facts ands things but im going to speak with my heart, i am an up comming IT student and it is the demand and the love of my profession that I need to keep up to date with the latest trends in the IT industry. i have always loved computers from a young age and the idea of 0s and 1s being used to better the world of today is what i live for. i would like to see what is on the market so that i not only better it but also understand it.
 
Always read about rAge in magazines but because I live in Durban, attanding it was pretty much out of the question. Well I'm gonna be moving up from Durbs to Jo'burg next week so this is the opportunity I've been waiting for.
 
I want to be attending this years rage, as I want to visit some of my online friends that I've yet to see in real life! :D
 
I have never been to one and this is probably the last chance I will get. Getting married next year which means after that it's game over :P Just kidding, but seriously, I really have never been before and I'd love to go and even if I don't win I will make a plan to get there.
