Rampage-Gaming,trusted or not?

How much are they paying you for this little campaign your running?
I do not get paid by them, as I do not work for them.
Just a customer stating his opinion on service that he received.
But seeing from your comment, I can post anything positive from any company, and you will assume someone is paying me.

Lets put it this way

Exhibit A: New user who has only just signed up today with 8 posts
Exhibit B: Said user has only made posts about glorious Rampage Gaming
Exhibit C: Said user Necros an old thread to copy paste glorious Rampage Gaming post from 2 years prior

Now a reasonable user would take the word of a regular user of that of a new guy. Also a reasonable user remain suspicious of a new user of any advice given by said campaigner without a history to gain trust, he would naturally question his credibility.

Now on the flip side why would a reasonable person sign up to a new website only to defend one company unless they had some connection to the company in question (seems like a lot of effort just to toss in 2c)? Also if a user wanted to gain credibility wouldn't he also post in other threads and introduce himself before belittling the experiences of current community members?

Based on the above I can't believe your story that you are truly independent of this horrid business in which case why should I not be allowed to dismiss your story a false.

I apologised for the other thread due to my lack of not paying attention
I do plan on posting in the other parts of the forum.
The only connection is I have bought from them with good service, same with rebeltech and titan-ice.

That being said, apologies to anyone I offended.
I will introduce myself properly and leave this thread alone.
 
I think worst of all is how he tries to drag Rebeltech's name into it as well, as if comparing them will make his business look better.
 
I'm concerned about Game Time Cards who are present on MyGaming. The site is owned by the same guy.

Yeah I was wondering about that, but I don't recall seeing any complaints. I did however notice that he takes ages to reply to questions in that thread, sometimes weeks.
 
i like the service i receive from rampage gaming an would recommend people buying from them. as you should buy gaming parts from gamer's. even though i run a it shop i still buy from them as they stock a great range of good parts

Rampage Gaming is our sister company and I thought I would take this opportunity to reply to this posting on they're behalf. As I understand it they're service was quite bad in past but that has changed quite a bit especially with site getting new management at end of this month. Also I believe the postings on HelloPeter are from clients who have all had they're issues resolved but posts were never removed, the old management didn't believe in paying to reply to comments that had become redundant although I really hope the new people in charge realize this was a massive mistake. If I hear anything else about changes ill post it here but what I can say is they're rebuilding the site completely and new one looks wicked.

The person who wrote this post is Jovan Nel. The owner of both GameTimeCards AND Rampage Gaming.
He is the only person running both companies from his own garage.
He has been caught out before for posting reviews of his own companies.

The Moral of the story is.... Stay Well Away from Rampage Gaming and GameTimeCards.
You will lose your money.
 
I've not had anyone complain to me about Gametimecards.co.za yet. If that happens, I will probably have to remove them based on the reputation of the company and its owner.

Just to clarify, Jovan Nel is no longer manager of Rampage Gaming or Gametimecards, company is now managed by Nick O'Nell. We do understand we had some bad service in past but we have done quite a bit to rectify this including updating the site and increasing size of our sales team. Both companies now in one office and run by same team and furthermore GameTimeCards was started by Jovan Nel, it is now owned and operated by our new manager.

Did Jovan sell the businesses?
 
From what I've read, he was the owner and manager. Both sites are still registered under his name.

Firstly, thanks in advance for any advice or help offered. I'm new to this forum and forums in general.

Writing here because I think I'm one of the latest to be scammed by Rampage gaming. Pushing about 12 emails now and numerous phone calls all going to voice mail. Admittedly, I was the fool for dealing with them but I only saw the hello peter and many other forum complaints about them after paying.

Typical deal, great communication before payment and then minimal after payment was made last tuesday (13 Aug) and now they are even more difficult to get hold of. Said my components would ship yesterday or today, still nothing from MDS Collivery (the courier company they use).

Does anyone have any advice for the way forward with these guys?
