Spec Ops: The Line

I don't normally go for military shooter type games but Spec Ops: The Line was Zero Punctuation's game of the year for 2012 so I had to give it a try. And wow, I'm very impressed. The story is exceptional and even though the game is short it ended before it became too monotonous which is a good thing.
I'd say it's a must play for people who like good story in their games. And even though the game isn't a horror title, in some ways it really behaves like one. So it's definitely not for people who prefer to stay away from the morbidity and gruesomeness of horror games.
The game is also beautiful! It uses the Unreal Engine and the setting is Dubai after huge sand storms basically destroyed the city. I loved the setting.
So especially people who have it in your backlog, give it a try! You won't be disappointed.
