Borderlands - 9
Something new, its character makes up for what it lacks in gameplay.

Call of Juarez - Bound in blood - 9
yay! a decent western!

Modern Warfare 2 SP - 7
modern warfare 1, but shorter and less

Call of Duty MW 2 - 6/10 - It's expensive, repetitive (compared to the first), short, adds nothing new .. and has a jarring cliffhanger ending which is getting old and tiresome. IW is lining up for a sequel that'll fleece some more pockets. No comment on MP.

UFO: Alien Invasion - 7/10 - Bit of a walk down memory lane - the game was rewritten (open-source) to run on 32-bit OS's (and I believe uses the original Unreal engine or something similar) and new layout designed for the UI. It's fun but confusing, and not quite as atmospheric as the original.

resident evil 5. pure genious. though i had some gripes with sheeva from time to time from either being stuck (killing weesker wtf with the rpg), "got your back" then nothing and lol infront of my cross hairs. apart from those 3 from time to time i really enjoyed it. welldone :)

impostor of persia - 7
-1 for too little monsters and new combat system which fails.
-2 for making me run around for an hour like sonic the hedgehog collecting stupid light balls.

Act Of War: Direct Action - 7.5/10

Ok I know this is a rather old game, but I started playing it again now.

The game really doesn't really bring anything inovative and unique. But somehow it still remains alot more fun than any of the newer C&C games it's meant to copy. The introduction of alot of currently experimental tech, weapons and vehicles is pretty cool and is allways something I like.

The single player is really in depth, it makes me feel part of the action, only other RTS game that does that better is Company of Heroes.

Tom Clancy's: H.A.W.X. - Solid 8/10

Great Fighter sim, not the best, but still great. Biggest thing for me is that it features all of my personal favorite airplanes.

Gameplay feels a little sluggish, the planes aren't at all very nible, to the point where it made them slightly less fun to fly. They could have tried to add some of the special features aircraft like the Harrier and F-35 have (V-Tol), but theres a distinct lack of that.

But somehow all that still doesn't stop the game from being incredibly captivating.

As the famous poet says: Great, good. GET. :D

Dead Space: 7/10
One of those often infuriatingly tricky games I considered giving up on, but am glad
I saw through to the surprise at the end.

Shadow Complex (Xbox Arcade): 9/10

I really had SO much fun playing this game, especially since I'm really not one for shooters on the Xbox. It sucked me in, and I couldn't stop! I thought it was over way too soon though, but it's always fun playing it again with a different objective in mind. First time you play to finish the game, second time you play to get all the collectibles and see what the 12 keycards can do for you!!

Operation Flashpoint, Dragon Rising-- 6.5/10

Not that impressive. Rather frustrating, repeat after repeat, a little too realistic for my liking. Graphics are not impressive, but what is impressive are the maps, but the restrictiveness is vexatious.

I see PC format gave it 70% also says that driving and flying vehicles are a nightmare to use.:(

Couldnt say it was worth 400 bucks

Borderlands 7/10

Think its a brilliant concept, but the story was lacking. Didnt actually pay much attention to the story.

The lack of a proper looting system in online play is rediculous. And the argument "Only play with friends" is silly, since why be able to join random server then? And implimenting a looting system like WoW would get rid of this probelm.

Online again - having save games saved on local machines made hacked guns rampant online.... why not have one profile thats for online - and the saves can be kept on central server?

The amount of weapons to choose from is amazing - but has a drawback of its really (well at least i found it hard) to decide what to use (Doesnt really explain very cleary what x2 fire damage is) ... is the $ value of the weapons doesnt seem to be very accurate.

After a while the desert land scape gets a bit boring

But with all that said and i'm sure there are other complaints i cant think of at the moment its a brilliant game.... but really hoping the second one becomes legendary in the sense they take what ever is bad currently and make a near perfect game, which it easily has the potential to have.

I'll only rate the last game I finished & not played.

MW2 would get a 7/10 BUT the MP is SO awesome it takes it to an 8.5/10 for me. The MP really adds value & to pay R600 was WAY worth it.

Torchlight

Fun game and great value for money. The endless dungeon after the main campaign does get monotonous though. It will just get better as time goes on with new mods.

Assasins'S Creed 2

Awesome game, killer sequel. Story line has improved, and gameplay much better. Can't wait for the next installment.

Just finished it myself.

After all the bad I heard about the first one I was kind of worried about even trying out this franchise, but luckily I was very pleasantly surprised.

The game is pretty damn fun, however it lacks any challenge to be honest. Overall a nice romp at a relaxing pace.

All in all I think I would give it a:
7.5-8/10
