Dark Souls - 8.5/10. Could have been more if the online was sorted and you could get summoned more often etc. Brilliant gameplay.
 
Duke Nukem Forever (Multiplayer) - 7/10

This was surprising because as much as the single player game sucked and although the 2 weapon limit is irritating and there were a couple of glitches / bugs, it actually was kinda fun. Reminded me a bit of the good old days when we used to play Duke3D over lan. I suppose there are much better and more hardcore multiplayer shooters out there, but overall, this was fun and entertaining, so I'll give it a 7.
 
Gears of War 3 was a fitting end to the Saga. alot more emotional than the other 2 but not as gritty as the first. the multiplayer is super duper fun, i have a good chuckle playing it. horde and beast mode just sweeten the deal. 8 / 10

Experienced some irritating issues at first but managed to resolve it, good graphics, smooth framerates, fun action and gameplay.

Just finished Batman Arkham City, absolutely EPIC game. Brilliant story, top notch game play. A must buy for anyone with even a pass interest in comics. 9/10
 
Battlefield 3 single player-78%

Had great moments and the graphics helped.

I've played alot of games since the last time I've been here, so excuse me while I remember:

Halo Reach: 75%
Too similar to Halo 3 for my liking, but not as great. Graphics were improved, but wtf happened to dual-wielding?

Batman Arkham City: 94%
F*CKING AWESOME!!! Possibly the best game I have (I have more than 30) and I'm not even done with it! Still about 200 more riddles, some side missions and challenge rooms to go. I doubt I'll be doing new game plus, since I don't like playing the same game twice. The only reason it never got a 100% is because I felt some villains could've been given more attention (I would've loved more from 2 face)
 
Command & Conquer 3 - Tiberium Wars

I wasn't expecting much from C&C 3 but wow it surprised me. It was worth the play and the cheesy acting made the game even more awesome. I'm a bit disappointed that I missed out on all the older Command & Conquers. Will see if I can play them at some stage.

Uncharted 3: Drake Deception

Finished First play through, busy with second on crushing. Fantastic game, love the new combat system. And the weapon system, figured out the issue with aiming early on. Apart from some minor glithces and audio drop outs the game is awesome. Story line is great, keeps you captavatived throughtout the game and the graphic are jaw dropping... Especially so since the console is dates already,

Going for all my throphies on crushing wish me luck... LMAO.

Rating 9.5/10 Minused a fear points for some annoying issues in the gun fights.
 
Finished Rage during the weekend. Nearing the end it feels extremely rushed, the last mission is so lame it's not even funny.

Still a Rather good game, I give it 7/10.
 
Gears of war 3.

Finally finished it today, I must say I really enjoyed it. It's not my favourite pick of the three, as no2 still ranks top imho.

I had 2 game breaking bugs, first one is where hammer of dawn fires randomly, that was poorly scripted and really annoyed me. second one was chapter just after that, my character end of a cut scene just kept on dying on load for no reason so I had to restart chapter.

I played on hardcore which felt more like normal to me, some places was evenly difficult where as some was just silly and others just too easy. End bad leaves much to be desired, I failed first 4 times, but 5th I just flew through it and it was over before I noticed any challenge.

All in all it touches 80, but is more like 75/100 I would say.
 
Batman Arkham City - 9/10

Excellent game and again, with no shortage of main bad guys and Joker is again, a very cool, funny and worthy opponent. Pity how things ended though.
Only frustrations were the flying through hoops quests... didn't like that at all.

Overall, I'd rate it the same as the first game... Everything is still fun.
 
Red Dead Redemption.

Brilliant story and script and the voice acting was very well done. My grype is with the shooting mechanics and the cover system. For this type of game, the cover system was well done. You can't expect a Gears of War type system but it would be nice to have a bit more responsive and flexible system where you enter and exit cover.

Graphics was amazing and the nature scenes and environment is well designed and looks beautiful. Horses and other animals look realistic and hunting is quite fun.

You can skin animals and sell the meat, pelt or horns.

Characters are colorful and believable.

Overall a well designed and excecuted gamed which I thoroughly enjoyed. The ending was satisfying, which is rare in most modern games.

Vanquish - PS3: 8.5/10

Decent game, good mechanics, few glitches, basically Gears on Speed. Story Started good but got a bit WTF at the end and then finished in what felt like a rush. Did enjoy the way they presented the end credits though.
