Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - 9.5/10

It would have gotten a 10/10 if it weren't for the bugs (Played it on the PS3). I didn't have all the problems that most PS3 gamers are complaining about, but I did get the odd lock up or hit a patch where the textures broke...

On the plus side it had a HUGE and incredibly detailed world to explore! You can be searching a cave, stumble upon a body and it will send you off on a quest for a lost amulet which takes about 2-3hrs to complete!! The main quest was a bit too short for my liking but it was brilliant! This game has so many "OMFG! Did that just happen?!" moments, It's just too epic! The world also feels so alive compared to Oblivion, there are a lot more NPC's and the world feels more alive in general. And all the lore in this game is incredible, it was a joy reading all the books I found littered around Skyrim!

I highly recommend this game to ANY RPG lover out there!

Dead Space 2 - 10/10

This has got to be the best horror game I've played after Amnesia Dark Descent! The gameplay was brilliant, the weapons were epic and the gore was just brutally EPIC :D! I love the fact that Isaac had a voice in this game, it gave his character a lot more depth and we got to understand his personal struggle with himself a lot better. It got a bit repetitive during Chapters 6-9 but then it picked up pace again in Chapter 10.

All-in-all it was a joy to play this game! It didn't quite scare me as much as I would have liked, it was more of a shooter for me but it was a damn fine game nonetheless!

Socom 4: Special Forces - 4/10

What a piece of crap, honestly this game has got to be one of the most boring games I have ever played! The story would make you sleep and the actual combat was shallow and uninteresting... The MP is fun for the hour, but after that it also becomes boring.

This game could have been so much more! Sadly, bad design choices and a horrible SP experience makes this game not even worthy to be put in the bargain bin.

NBA Jam: On fire Edition - 8 / 10.

If you are a fan of the old megadrive version you'll love this one. Playing this game in local co-op is an absolute blast.

Left 4 Dead 2

Never has zombie killing been so fun.

The fun orientated campaigns played along with your friends creates an interesting zombie smashing experience.

Tip: If you see this game on special @ steam, don't hesitate to buy it.

Fallout New Vegas DLC - Dead Money: 4/10

Not impressed. I like Fallout NV, but this DLC, not so much. Can't exactly explain exactly why but this DLC just did not do it for me. The whole time I was playing it I just wished that it would end. And on top of that, it had 2 bugs that I needed to use cheats to get around. I've played over 100 hours of Fallout NV and not once did I have to use cheats. In this DLC, I had to use two different cheats just to make it through. Hopefully the other DLCs for this game are better. I'm just glad I got this on special for next-to-nothing.
The only "good" thing about this DLC, once you've completed it, you're basically set with caps. You basically get 35 gold bars valued at a couple of thousand caps per bar.

Most of the Last few games I played have all been... old. FF13, Mass Effect 1 and now im playing fable 2! (All between my online Gears of War 3 gaming).

The last 'new' games i played:

Currently playing: Rayman: 8.5/10

Finished: Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet: 7/10
Bastion: 9/10

Dark Souls... on xbox. 9/10

My first foray into the world of twisted demons, dragons and monsters. I loved the atmosphere, you're either filled with dread or feel hopelessly lost - your next death could be right around the corner. Also loved the somewhat original multiplayer mechanics. Loved it to bits.

Batman Arkham City
8.284/10. Great game, but man GFWL really makes things unpleasant. I changed my username (which given to me when i created the account) after i completed the game, and so all my saved games were wiped...But apart from that, the game is moerse fun :)

Fallout New Vegas (2nd and Final playthrough) - 6.5/10

Game started out great, but the game is just way too long... 72 hours and I skipped the Happy Trails DLC and perhaps some other stuff as well as I just couldn't take anymore and wanted to finish. Combine that with getting bored and irritated due to bugs and crash to desktops, I can now safely say that I'm cured from Fallout (or even perhaps all RPGs like this) and might even wait a couple of months before continuing with Skyrim. If it weren't for the bugs, I would rate it 8/10. Bethesda it seems, is great at releasing great games... but working games, not so much.

Played Mirror's Edge again. The story mode is fun but the game shines when it comes to the speedruns. Wow. So tough and frustrating but oh so rewarding when you string together that perfect run. :) 8/10

just recently started World of Warcraft:Wrath of the Lich King

Being a Huge fan of Vanilla, I have an appreciation of working hard for items and various rep rewards. I can however appreciate what Blizzard are trying to do - by making the game more accessible for new players. The small touches like emailing you when you are the right level to gain the riding skill - and more importantly letting you know where to find it and how much it costs would surely greatly assist new players.

The Achievement system is also rather fun , trying to gain various feats and seeing whats available, makes you work hard at certain aspects giving you something to aim for.

For now I am greatly enjoying the game, taking my time with some buddies trying out the various new game mechanics and spells that are on offer.

Very Impressed so far - and cant wait to try out the new continent that was added.

Graphics wise - I would have laughed at you if you said that wow would bring a machine to its knees - but that is what WotLK did to my laptop when I pushed graphics settings to Ultra x)
I still play 1920x1200 but taking a very much easier level of detail for my setup - I will be needing a new lappy when I switch over to Cata eventually ^^

Overall Rating 9/10

Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy - 8/10

Always wanted this game, but couldn't find it anywhere so when I saw this game Friday on GOG for $6, I bought it immediately. Now the game is old as dirt, graphics resembles something similar to one of the first Hitman games and the controls are "different" than other games. I can't say that I like it... I would prefer something normal that makes me feel more directly linked to my character / actions.
Other than those two things, the game was actually pretty fun, great story, multiple endings and sequences that reminded me of The Matrix. Would be awesome to have this game remade on today's graphics. I think this is the first game I've played where you play the all characters from various sides of the story. Very interesting.
As soon as I get a PS3, I'm getting Heavy Rain (same developer and I think same type of game)

Binary Domain 9/10.

This will probably be the one of the most underrated titles of this year. I'm quite the Yakuza fan (even though I haven't managed to finish a single title in the series :p) so I had high hopes going into this and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. The cover system works really well and the controls are super tight, boss fights are AWESOME and varied, and shooting robots apart piece-by-piece never gets old. The story is also rather decent with some good voice acting and a couple of interesting characters. I'm really hoping SEGA is planning a sequel. It loses one point for voice recognition not working as I wanted it to and for the stupid teammates that keep running into my line of fire and then blaming me for shooting them.

Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition ( vok )

Its ok, its really hard and theres only 4 characters that I actually like in the whole game.

Mass Effect 2 (with all its DLC Missions) for the 4th Time and its still a 9-9.5 out of 10. The only complaint I have is the mining.

Mass Effect 3 - 8/10

Gameplay, improved combat, multiplayer, everything was 10/10.
I liked how they tied up almost all of the loose ends, although some of them was not as satisfying as I would have liked. Weapon customisation is improvement over ME2, but still not as good as ME1. Would have been nice to have one or two extra squad members though.
The only bad about the game is some parts of the story that I think they screwed up, especially the ending.

I played the game through on a full Paragon saved game with all previous squad members saved. I'm curious to see the changes to the story when certain characters didn't survive as some of them have really big parts in the story in ME3... but after seeing the ending, I'm a little bit demotivated at the moment.
