I'm cautious buying 2nd hand.

Fun fact: I haven't had a new GFX card since my GeForce4 FX, since then I got a 6800GS, 7800GTX, HD3870, HD4830, HD4890 and now GTX570... all Second hand

Hardware is definitely not something I'd buy 2nd-hand, regardless of how lucky some people have been. 2nd-hand from someone I actually know (and trust); now, that's a different story.

that was a terrible card, i had one of those, it truly sucked i remember playing a game im sure it was motogp2 or 3 and the drivers helmets had a gaping hole because that stupid card lacked the necessary shaders that normal geforce 4 cards had to render the reflective visor.
