Tbh, I've never played a GTA game.

It never interested me either up until when I tried it. It's very very good. You should definitely give it a try.

Theres a rumour that PS VR will work with XBox or something to that effect. Not sure how true that is though.

Not XBox related, but what I did read yesterday though was that PS VR can work with Steam games via Trinus.

I've heard that too. There was an article on myGaming a few days ago about connection the PS-VR to your PC but it seemed like a lot of work.

Just finished my 2nd play through. What an awesome game. Going back to that survival horror roots.
