i hope this is right.

pull a fruit out the first box, and if its a lemon/orange lable the box accordingly, and the second box the opposite fruit.
the "The last box is an equal mixture of lemons and oranges" so you lable it as that.

Nope, not quite there yet. Because there is a mixed box, using this method you will not know if you have pulled a fruit out of the mixed box or orange/lemon box.

Take a fruit out of the box labelled mixed. I'll call it box 1.
Whatever you take out there will be all that's in there, so find the right label for box 1.
Box 2 now won't have a label, so take the label from box 3 and put it on box 2, then put the label from box 1 on box 3

I believe they will all be correct then. Hope I explained clearly enough.

ok, just for procedures sake box1 is labled oranges, box2 is labled lemons and box3 is labled mix.

i pull out a fruit of box3 and if i pull out an orange i lable box1 lemon, box2 mix, box3 orange.

A man carrying a cricket ball, hat and a cellphone arrives at a wooden bridge. Before attempting to cross the bridge keeper warns that if he tries to cross the bridge with all three items and himself the bridge will collapse he need to leave one item behind. The otherside is too far away for him to throw it across. However the man still manages to cross the bridge once with all his items.

How did he manage this?

As for the riddle, can he take a plank from the wooden bridge and bat the ball across? Then cross with the hat and cellphone?

option 1: throws the cricket ball ahead of him across the bridge letting it bounce ahead and rolling to the otherwise, carries remaining items.
option 2: crosses the brigh leaving one item behind on the first trip, then leaves the other two on the far side and goes back for the first item
