Rugby World Cup 2015

One thing I can say without any doubt is that neither Scotland nor Samoa will be viewing their game against Japan in the same light as they did a few hours ago.

They will also probably be out for blood when they play us as well.

Without a doubt.

They won't. I rate SA underestimated them. The rest of the guys going against the japs won't make that mistake.

Probably true as well.
But... The Boks played badly. Don't forget that Japan also played very well. Scotland should (and probably will) beat them, but Samoa may not be strong enough if Japan can duplicate the game (defence especially) that they did tonight.

Thinking back now I realise I also secretly hoped that Japan would play well enough to keep the game interesting. They exceeded my wish it seems, but I feel bad for my country now. It really was a passionate and emotional game though - I thoroughly enjoyed watching it!

I don't have words really i don't it's probably the worst display of a Springbok team in he history of the game at a world cup aside from the ref hammering us with some of the most absurd calls i have ever seen. But the boks played kak. Glad i didn't pack in that NZ jersey after the winter. Sorry guys and Gal but i'll be supporting the Silver Ferns from here on out

South Africa just played a shocking game. I think we need to take a look at the game and reevaluate our goals.
Do we really need players who were clearly past their prime in the previous world cup slowing our game?
Do we really need to give away 12 points in penalties for stupid and avoidable errors.
Do we really need to play the same one dimensional rugby that every team can read like an open book.

Personally, I'm supporting every team that plays the boks here on out. We don't deserve to win and we need something to light a fire under SARU. Something needs to change, we can't play the same rugby and team for 3 world cups in a row and expect 2007 to happen every time.

I get the disappointment, we all share that, but not to support them, that I don't get. True supporters stick with their team through thick and thin.....sorry mate to call you out, but the team needs our support now more than ever.

Sorry I have a different view. Sometimes you need tough love.

Don't misread what I'm saying that I mean go easy on them, no, they let everybody down including themselves. But to only support a team when they are playing well or the way you like it.....I struggle with that approach.

It's not because they've played bad in one match. It's a failure across all levels and it didn't start this year.

I'm not some temp supporter who is losing interest because they last a game, there has been blood in the water for a long time.

Ok, I don't get it, but it's your time and effort, I'll respect you want to invest it somewhere else.

Judging from the match now between NZL and ARG, seems like NZL is not as strong as expected. They managed to catchup and won by 10 points

I'm with Ike on this one it's been a long time coming and tbh they don't deserve the support they are getting atm, "our hearts are in it" what a kak slogan i have to say cos there ain't shit in it atm. i hope HM wakes the f up and starts picking a team that knows how to play rugby and to start get rid of 1,2,3,9,12,15

I would add a 5 to those numbers it just shows you how many player's don't deserve to be there.I will always support the boks I am not a fair weather supporter.

I'm with you. Bokke all the way! I may not agree with their selection choices or their style of play but I'm a Bok supporter through thick and thin.

Honestly, I am ashamed to call myself a Bok supporter, but I stay a Bok supporter. You are not a true fan or supporter of a team if you cannot support them in their most difficult of times. What about when Rudolph Straulli took a world class outfit and destroyed the whole team? We had a terrible year of two of rugby then as well, but we stood up from there and became world beaters. We will again rise from the ashes here, and a true fan cannot abandon then right now. You are a fan in good times and in bad.

My blood is GREEN and GOLD. It always has and it always will. I may not agree with the choice of team they play. I may not agree with the coach, or with the alleged political influences in the team. I may not have to best of confidence in the team, but I will ALWAYS support the Boks. Every time that team goes onto the pitch wearing the GREEN and GOLD, I will be there in full support, hoping and shouting my lungs out. Every weekend from now until the my last day.
