Rugby World Cup 2015

I have dropped so far down...damn that sucks!

on another note, is anyone else in the same dilema of wanting ENG to beat AUS? i dont like either team but going forward it might be better for us if AUS doesnt make it to the top of their pool.

I just think it would be better for the home team to get further in the World Cup.

MickeyD thanks for the update! Can you perhaps include an extra column in future updates that shows people's position? I don't like to count to find out how bad I'm sucking :D

They beat us, how is that unbelievable? :p

Japan is just unbelievable as whole. :D

And I am so happy with this first half display by the Bokke! :D Now they must just continue to play well and put 50 points against the Scots.

I admit, I was a little worried around the middle there, but the Boks made me proud!

What I learned this game
- Pollard on form can be the best in the world (coming from a HUGE Lambie fan)
- Lood has the be the hardest baby face in the game
- I enjoy rugby so much more when the ref has a sense of humour while being exceptionally fair. The comment to the Scottish #15 was classic! "Do that again and you can come back in 2 weeks to try again."

Nigel Owens reffed a great game, really wish all matches would go like this one. That TMO though, kind of disgraceful trying to convince the ref to give a yellow card when clearly it was not a yellow card offence (JP tackle).

It was actually a boring game to me, I'm hoping the finals will pick up especially if South Africa faces New Zealand

Japan are my team of the tournament! Eddie Jones has really done a great job as coach with them. Now i hope he can do the same with the Stormers so we can finally get that Super Rugby trophy...

Ja i was very impressed with Pollard. he had a great game. Willie though had a bit of a shocker, missed two crucial tackles which brought scotland back into the game. Lood is so inform at the moment. he has tackiling gaining meters like a beast.
the du plessis brother were their usual wreckless selves... i wish that they would only have one of them on the field at a time to give away penalties etc cause both of them there is like a ticking time bomb

i have to agree with you he was brilliant! if only we can have more refs reffing like him

Rugby World Cup 2015 is heating up properly, and it is really living up to be the best world cup yet. At this stage the pools are almost set already and the teams can start planning on the last games and what type of teams they will need to play.

It's a shame that England had to bow out like that in their own tournament, and I'm sure that their press will be merciless this week. I do not want to be part of that camp right about now. But let's be honest, they really didn't look the part, and even if you are picked to play in "the pool of death" at least your form should look like a team that can beat anyone from that pool. Australia walked over them and England never really looked to be a big threat to them throughout the entire game.

SA's game was okay. We should've beaten Scotland by another 20 points to be honest, and the Scots didn't even field their best team for the match. Still a lot of work for us to do, but we are getting much better. I hope Heyneke also stops playing both Du Plessis now, they are more of a liability for the team.

Ireland didn't play a good game, but I still back them to go to the semi's. My previous thought was that they would easily beat Australia, but after this weekend, I'm not so sure anymore. That will be a cracker of a semi though.

The All Blacks was disappointing to say the least, and they showed that there are some kinks in their armour. Although, they played badly and won by 30 points, which is still great. I wonder if the fact that they have a relatively easy pool isn't going to be a detriment to them for the quarters.

My tier 2 and tier 3 were excellent choices. Now I just need South Africa to come to the party and make it to the final. Go Bokke!

After the first half I was really pissed off at the Boks for playing such kak rugby. But that second half they proved me wrong. But then again, with a USA B team, we were expected to beat them by a long way.

The issue now is, are we prepared to play the quarters? We haven't really played a game at any high intensity, and although we lost against Japan, none of the team really gave us a good intense game of rugby. We will need to lift our game much higher for the quarter finals. I hope we face Wales

As long as Ruan Pienaar, Coenie Oosthuizen and Victor Matfield stays out of the starting lineup we'll be ok
