Rust South Africa - Gamers Haven server

At the moment with all the lag our SA servers are experiencing you are probably better off building your own place as i doubt i will be in game much.

Its really difficult trying to farm wood when you keep running up to it :P

Or lags out when being chased by a bear... and die??? WTF lol and trying to find your stash..
 
Yea i made a ticket again with multiplay, the last response was just telling me it's not about the memory and cpu but the peering issues in south africa and the ISP's, so waiting for there new reply.

Also need to say!! Love the FPS booster on the server!! the game feels so much smoother for me now?
 
I have also read that alot of the bigger server providers have been getting DDOS attacked, I think Multiplay were hit as there have been alot of complaints about their servers being down yesterday for hours, but im not sure if that would effect our SA server ?

Glad you discovered it, i've added it yesterday, so people don't need to type that command to remove grass anymore but just use /fps instead.
 
Sorry i was not on much last night Shirou, started watching Wold of Wallstreet and couldn't stop. Will be on tonight.
 
It doesn't just remove grass, it removes more than that... it really makes it more smoother for me!


This is what it disables:

"gfx.tonemap false" -- removes tone mapping
"terrain.idleinterval 0" -- stops the system from drawing unseen textures
"grass.disp_trail_seconds 0" -- disables trails in grass created by npcs/players
"gfx.ssao false" -- disables screen space ambient occlusion
"gfx.bloom false" -- removes bloom effect
"gfx.ssaa false" -- disables super sampling anti aliasing
"gfx.shafts false" -- disables sun rays effect
"render.level 0" -- lowers render level
"env.clouds false" -- disables clouds
"grass.on false" -- disables grass
