S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha

So I've been playing around with Lost Alpha and well... I would pay to play this. It's amazing. ;)

Best s.t.a.l.k.e.r mod out there. Actually in it's current state it's a stand alone game. :O

September... so next month. Depending on how the testing is going. I'm still stuck in Agroprom... it's just too much fun to leave it.

Funny thing, starting in Cordon is fun and all, and I spent a lot of time there. But I've only explored about 60% of it. Garbage looks completely different, and there I've also only explored like 50%. The best thing about this mod to me so far is seeing how Ai react in a firefight.

Few questions:

1. Stand-alone or will it require SoC (according to FAQ only the disc needs to be in the drive)?
2. Only downloadable or will there be some kind of physical copy?
3. Price?
4. Working vehicles?
5. Is a small part of a minute a minute minute?

1. It's as the FAQ says, by the way it was updated two days ago so I would recommend you go look at it again if you have not done so already.
2. I'm pretty sure it'll be downloadable. No physical copy.
3. If you want to pay then donate. Not sure how or where though.
4. Vehicles are working yes :p They even use fuel, and you can use the boot to store items.

I hope you guys got the news on us postponing Lost Alpha. After a full range of tests we decided it's for the best. We've added so many new features that it's hard to make sure each one is working 100%. The game is running solid though, engine kinks have been smoothed out. Currently we're just running benchmarks on hardware seeing as we now incorporated Quad core support.

Also... drivable vehicles are a load of fun... but scary as hell at the same time. On some maps you really just want to explore rather then race through it. There's something hidden around almost every corner.

you aint lived man... But Yes, unfortunately true for most south africans for some reason. You only missed the greatest fps game of all time, thats all :)

Best FPS with Best Mods and one of the most unique storylines and settings ever! Let's not get started on atmosphere here ;)
 
Well sure! Our biggest problem is the scale of the project. We're working overtime to get all the little kinks sorted out. And that takes time.
