Once again the Verge proves that it is produced by people who like to dabble in games, and not by actual gamers. Many times they get their info wrong or dis games or gaming habits that make gamers what they are. Making fun of genres like fantasy rpgs or the people who play them might seem like the cool thing to do, but it just alienates their core audience. This latest incident just proves this theory. The show in general can be ok , especially when part time host Thomas Gumede was there as he was actually funny at times. Long time host Pippa is just ok as she tries too hard to be funny. The biggest culprit, however, must be host / producer Mohammed Nagdee. He is a douche of note. He is the one who usually makes fun of gamers and games that he doesn't find appealling. Hating on role playing games just because you think it's dorky is not cool. How about having an open mind? Isn't that what good journalism is all about?
