SAB workers go on strike

So mere hours after I posted my rant about how the gov needs to sort out the labour unions, the IMF says:

http://www.timeslive.co.za/thetimes/2013/10/02/imf-urges-sa-to-rein-in-trade-unions

Shortly thereafter the South African Reserve Bank Governor chips in too:

I guess the ranting works after all. :D Well thats what I'm going to tell myself anyway.

I got that 100% divided by percentage difference is roughly the factor you use to determine how long before it becomes effective. Thus 2.5% is a 40X factor, one week is 40 weeks, one month is then 40 etc.
Yeah looks about right to me - assuming you ignore the time value of money....which isn't a good idea given that we're talking years here.

Lets just wait for the teachers strike. And nurses. Thats pretty much annual.
You forgot the garbage disposal okes.

Post office either has already started or is going to do so soon...difficult to tell with those okes since the do fckall anyway.

Lol...my wife works for SAB...i have TOO much damn beer lying around :D Cant even drink it much anymore...lol

But the masses will never wake up...I call it "Sheep Syndrome" they let someone make the calls instead of thinking for themselves, so they can blame someone else if it goes wrong...not themselves. Then they want to cry about poverty /no job, and end up stealing your stuff cause they are un-employed.

The irony **Cue "isnt it ironic" by allanis morriset** :D

Smart that they give it away rather than have the employees steal it. Also who is not happy receiving alcohol from work.
