I think that this has been taken way out of hand. Whisper.... is whisper. Let's not all forget she is from the US and that she is also fairly new to gaming as such, therefore is also new in the gaming community. I would like to vouch for her and say that she is a great person to chat and game with and have not as of yet had any problems whatsoever with her. (She even made time for me to show me the finer details of Space Marine multi-player). I think a lot of the confusion and misconceptions start with her using slang that is rude to us but fair use in the US. I think also that she is truly and extremely proud of her accomplishments as a new gamer and it may be that it rubs up some people the wrong way if she wants to "help" constantly.
Let's just all do what we are here for and what we love most - GAME!
P.S - Monk - you are a great dude as well and I know that you live not a hell of a way away from me so I would love to still have a beer with you sometime (Psychopanthis & Tank & anybody from the Durban area most welcome - or those that want to come visit because "dis lekker by die see".

Hehe, Samildanach, Whisper taught me pretty much everything I know about Space Marine MP as well.
She's really good too. From what I remember, me and Kharrak had quite a tough time of it when we took her on together. Though that might not be saying as much because I sucked at the game.

This is really, really ridiculous. If the people I "ignored" (read: am too busy to respond to at that moment) on chat blocked me and declared our friendships over, I'd probably have no friends.
I don't think MOnk should have posted this, but at the same time, I think Whisper's response is absurdly out of proportion. You don't get to demand people's attention whenever you want it.

Yeah. I skip her posts straight away now, the drama is always over 9000. I thought Egoli ended years ago. Personal opinion though.
EDIT: Also, I see we have this wonderful feature called an 'Ignore List'. This will come in handy.
