Yes. I did not like AC3. Freedom Cry also looks nice
Why not just skip anything after 2, if you've played 1&2 you've played them all.

I've played all AC games up to 3 except for revelations. just recently bought it.
I played AC3 to death. I loved it, it was amazing. Connor is awesome, his story is awesome. Its the same story as Star Wars with regards to Luke and Darth Vader. Connor is more of a serious guy compared to Ezio but more badass.
The setting is also awesomely fresh compared to europe. Wild North America, running around the early settlements and surrounding forrests was a breath of fresh air.
AC3 also ends Desmonds story. I think, have to check AC4 out to be sure but didn't seem like a Cliff Hanger to me.
*edit* A lot is revealed through Desmonds story.
No cooking clue why the game was slated.
Asking if you should skip AC3 is like asking if you should have another glass of milk after consuming 5 glasses of it...all of which tasted the same...smelt the same...looked the same...
If you don't get what I mean...

If you still don't get what I mean

On a side note, I thought Assassin's creed Black Flag was amazing and incredibly stunning to look at...I spent hours just looking at the ocean and the islands...lol
I couldn't agree more.
Lol, that's pretty funny, but sadly not true. Call it what you will but the milk still tastes pretty awesome to me, each glass with its own distinct flavour.![]()
Like I've said in my previous post, each AC is very different from the last, if you can't see that then I don't know what to tell you. These games have a decent development cycle and a massive amount of people working on each one and it shows. I'm not saying there aren't issues with all of them that should be resolved (navigation can sometimes be problematic, tailing missions, etc.) but the good outweighs the bad by far.

lol I know we don't agree about the AC series, at least we share a love of The witcher lol

The 1st AC was pretty awesome because it was a new IP, and I loved it to be honest...
The 2nd AC was also pretty good, I'll be honest....
Then they noticed..Call of Duty...and how it made millions by doing a yearly release and they thought...Ooooh we could do that with AC..and all they did was ruin it up until AC Black Flag which was awesome because it was different...was like going from 5 glasses of milk...to chocolate flavored milk.
Lol, I'll agree with you on the Witcher but when it comes to AC we definitely have very different opinions.
You can keep saying they're all the same and I'll keep saying they are different, because they are. AC1 was a great, but flawed game. AC2 fixed most of the issues of the first game and introduced one of the best protagonists in gaming. Brotherhood introduced the brotherhood mechanic which was awesome and it also came with (awesome) MP for the first time. Revelations had the tower defence (not great), the hookblade (awesome), the first person platforming with Desmond (not great), the bomb crafting (awesome, both Altair and Ezio, etc. AC3 had a fresh lead character (really don't get the hate foe Connor, he is such a badass) and mixed up the formula with hunting and crafting, naval battles and a homestead to build up and more. Black Flag had the pirate thing (which is awesome) and improved the naval battles and gave us a huge map with a ton of stuff to do.
There is a reason the franchise has sold more than 70 million copies and I am looking forward to seeing where it is heading next.
