I gave you negative rep for saying that something as simple as resizing your signature "just for MyGaming" would be "annoying." I really don't get the big deal. If you like the forum and other people get irritated by huge sigs, why wouldn't you be considerate? Just my opinion on the matter :)

I did the same thing at the beginning of this thread. Agreed that that is petty.
 
There was a big hoohaa about anon's being able to post what they like in the comments yet there is a system that allows cowards to neg rep you for shit, anonymously ........... that's pretty fail.

I think of the rep system a lot like the thumbs up/thumbs down in the comment section (like News24, GameSpot, etc). Not everything you say always goes down well with everyone. I've had a couple of people give me negative rep although somehow more positive than negative so it's nice to know that some of the nonsense I post is appreciated by some :p

Also, I don't see what cowardice has to do with it--it's a rep system, it's basically "YAY POST!" or "BOO POST." The equivalent of a +1 or -1.

If there's some unspoken rule that the rep system isn't allowed to be used then I must've missed that memo :p

If you click on the 'User CP' link at the top of the forum can't you see the latest reputation points you've been given?

when their sig is 640px × 235px which is more than double the stipulated height ! what do you call that type of mentality ?

The funny thing is when it comes to competitions on here you guys are easily able to follow and adhere the rules of the competitions but now with a simple request from james to adhere to the general site rules you all are making an issue out of it !

those ones are easy they are one pic. i had xfire and the sc2 thing how do i check there combined high?

James are you guys now blocking xfire from showing.

You work out the pixel height for both pictures and then you add it together and your sig height is fine.

Nope. I can see both of your sigs, when I'm logged in and out of the forum.

Anyone else having trouble seeing Weasley's sigs?

Yeah those are absolutely ridiculous, they aren't sigs they're backgrounds. If you still have to ask about them, either you are joking or you're clearly just disrespecting the admins.
