I'm all ears.
My current strategy is the plunging attack, get past him, run down the length of the battlment, try get past him and repeat. Problem is, I can't bet past him - I managed it once and klapped me in the back.

Oh, lol well that was going to be my advice, I just spammed him with plunging attacks. never had an issue getting back past him. I think you should only run about half the length and then try get back past him. Are you wearing heavy armour and moving slow? Might want to try put something on thats later to get past him if thats the case.

That was pretty much my tactic. Wait till you get to the Capra Demon, you'll be wishing for Taurus. :D

Armor yeah, but I've seen dudes do this with the pretty much the same as I'm wearing. One dude managed to roll through his legs as we was approaching. And I was like :wtf:

Lol - I'm so screwed!
 
I used the same tactic with the Taurus demon. After a couple of tries you should see how to get past him. I struggled a lot more with the Black Knight before him. In the end I went back for the Black Knight after defeating the Taurus demon.

Yeah I don't know what I'm doing wrong there, it seems an easy enough tactic.
As for the Black Night, I'll rather leave him for the time being. The two times I tried to take him on he broke my face.
 
I really want to get this but sharing an xbox with my little brother is a pain so I will wait for the pc release.

Totally worth it. I was skeptical at first, but strangely its not really frustrating. I don't find myself designing new swear words if I die, I just do it over again.

Don't listen to him, Tsar. It does get frustrating at times. ;-) Last night I played it since I finished Mass Effect 3. I played for an hour and got nowhere hehe. Actually I'm worse off because I lost all my humanity and souls and yet I didn't get any further.

That's already happened to me about 10 times :p

What I'm saying is usually I'm pretty short tempered with games that piss me off, but this one is different. Somehow.

I think it's because when you die it's usually your fault and not some cheap game mechanic.

Then Dark Souls is right up your alley. It's very very challenging, sometimes threatening to break your spirit, but when you finally crack that part that you died at 30 times it's the most rewarding feeling you can get from a game.

I'm going to try the Taurus Demon without the music on. Everytime I hear that theme start, I'm like Awww shiiiit !!
