Yeah I've tried all those strategies - for some reason I can't get past him after I do the first heavy downward attack and go down the length of the bridge. I did manage to get him down to quarter health after fire bombing him but then death came swiftly and without mercy.

Ok what kind of weapon is your primary weapon? Polearm, axe, sword? How fast does it swing? What Soul level are you?

If you are at a high enough Soul Level you can shoot the tail of the drake guarding the bridge, who then drops the drake sword. Its quiet powerful if a bit slow. Alternatively coat you sword in that tar stuff that causes fire damage, it should help get him down a wee bit faster.

Do you need to invest in some dexterity? I tried shooting the tail off but I think its my stats for the bot thats to low?

Not necessaries dex, when your soul level is below a certain number you dont do enough damage and the drake's regen basically means your arrows do jack.

I dunno. Cant remember what is was suppose to be. I stood on a exposed section under the bridge and fired from there, he cant hit you and if you time it right you cant miss. Check the wiki page I posted earlier.

If you guys think the Taures demon is hard wait for the Hydra. There is another one I haven't been able to kill or the ghost level where u cant hit enemies without a special consumable that wears off quite quickly.

Oh joy yeah I will check the wiki. I found the mecha boar easy I stabbed it in the ass and then it ran into a fire and died
